The roasted pumpkin pasta was yum! All the food we got was delicious, great staff and a dog friendly place with a view. What more could you ask for! The triple cooked potatoes were also to die forπ
Such an amazing place! Great ambience, great service and the food is incredible. Ordered a variety of dishes from the menu - from the ribs through to the surf and turf options; not a single dish disappointed. Would have uploaded photos but ate the food too quickly. Will be visiting this place whenever we're in the area again!
Visited on a Saturday as a party of 7, including 5 kids. Not sure how wise it was to book 2 Hen's Parties plus a tour group on the same day at the same time as it was packed and everyone was written off. While we were waiting to be seated, a member of one of the Hen's parties, who was so drunk her friend was holding her up, made an inappropriate comment to my TWELVE year old son. Luckily her friend hastily removed her, or I would have. We were seated at a reserved table where we were crammed in amongst another large group. Seconds after being seated a glass was shattered next to my 8 year old, at which time I sent them off to check out the playground. They returned to tell me there were 3 adults in the playground, all drunk and staggering around amongst the kids. Apparently when they eventually left they drove too which is a bit of a worry. The beers were great and the place has a funky vibe. There was live music and the staff were lovely. Unfortunately I just felt really uncomfortable exposing my kids to people who were so disgustingly drunk they could barely stand. I'm no prude but there's a line you shouldn't cross in a family friendly establishment. They should have been cut off, where is the responsible service of alcohol? Lads, if you're looking to pick up, this is 100% a sure fire winner.
Great brewery! Venue is great with a great back story. Beer is even better! The guys here know what they're doing. Love coming here and trying what they have on offer.
The Beerfarm venue is great with an upstairs area that allows for viewing over the production shed. It has a unique aesthetic that allows for it to stand out against other breweries in the southwest. The beer is amazing with lots of variety on offer. I recommend the Royal Haze for any craft beer enthusiasts. The food was of a high standard and has improved since my first visit.
This place has a great 'Bar in a Shed' feel about it. The extra large dining area with the long tables to cope with the holiday crowd was just too much for me though. I need to come back when it's not so hectic. Fantastic set up in an awesome location. Great crew serving up excellent beers on tap.
Food was amazing, did not expect that! Would recommend booking a table as it gets pretty busy.
Beer Farm excellent Beer, fantastic food. I really enjoyed the experience my friends and family loved the place. The service was good and the food came out in a timely matter and was delicious
Excellent place to take the kids! Supersized waterslide to keep the kids entertained with a large grass area to sprawl out on to chill out for the afternoon.
There are things we loved and things we did not love about this place. We loved their commitment to sustainability, the venue was 'cool' and rustic with a nice atmosphere and the food was tasty. I had the pumpkin pasta and it was full of flavour, delicious in fact. Generally the staff seemed friendly and helpful. However, we were taken to our seat in the outside 'shed' area, which really is like a large, crowded canteen, with long shared tables and where social distancing goes right out the window. Our hostess pointed to the end of a table and then turned and walked away... we were left to wander the shed looking for a menu from another table and to guess how we should order our food or drinks. That was not a good first impression. To add to this, when we visited (today), the flies were incredible in their number and their persistence to get into your open orifices was something to behold. Of course, this isn't the venue's fault and could've been a problem at every place in the South West today but it was pretty hard to enjoy a meal when every time you open your mouth to take a bite, you have to be speedy enough that a fly doesn't enter with it. I would come here again, for the pasta more than anything, but I would book ahead next time and request a table inside. Also I'd like to add how nice it is to find a place that really is dog friendly.
