Beaufort Fish & Chip Shop

We ordered flake and chips the flake was not fresh and we had a hair in it. We were very disgusted with the food and will not be ordering from there again.

Sometimes the chips and potato cakes sent crunchy like I love. But they aren't soggy. Not perfect but I have had a lot worse before. Great considering they are so far from the sea

Possibly the rudest and slowest customer service you will ever encounter. And the food is average at best. Better off going to the Caltex roadhouse.

No idea what people are complaining about. Burger with the lot was great. Potato cakes and dimmies were well cooked. Oil was very clean. Shop is clean and smells ok. Service while not friendly certainly wasn't unfriendly. Lady said hello and asked what I wanted, took the order, made it and thanked me. Dunno what else you might want. I'd happily eat here again.

The staff are freindly shop was very clean food was fresh great hamburgets and of a much higher standard than a lot of other fish and chips shops well desirved 5 star

Intrigued by the 1* ratings and reviews we decided to give it a go... totally worth it just to experience the sad reality of a person that has no idea about customer service. Walked in, nobody waiting so we went to the counter. The woman (who was supposed to be) serving noticed us coming in and stood ignoring us for the next few minutes with her back turned. She’s chopping up a chicken parka instead of acknowledging her customers... eventually had enough of waiting to be served and walked out. Please go and visit for this awesome experience, but don’t reward the ignorance with your money.

Classic fish & chip shop from a polite no-nonsense lady who knows how to appreciate the necessity of chicken salt. Fantastic dimmies, delicious potato cakes and crispy chips.

Great shops well stocked IGA
