Similar to other bavarian venues. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice space but a little bit pricey. Sticking with happy hour or specials is a good idea

Very bad customer service! We went there last week on a weeknight. 20mins after we ordered, we still didn't get our drinks and we had to ask someone for them. Another 15mins went by and we still didn't get our food. We tried to ask someone about our food but took about 10mins just to get the attention of someone. There were lots of staff but the staff just weren't attentive, they didn't look around to see if anyone needed help. When we finally got a waiter, he said he will go check for us, but came back asking us who we ordered the food with, then went back to check again. That same waiter never came back to us. We had to ask someone else to check again. Finally about 55mins from ordering, we finally got our food and the only "apology" we received was "Sorry, they put down the wrong table number". Never going back there again! Worst service we've ever experienced.

Fantastic place with heaps of character. The staff hear are quite friendly and helpful and give great happy hour advice 😊. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and a great range of beer as you would expect. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed

Prompt, friendly service blended with drink-mix consistency. Proximity to Chatswood interchange a bonus.

Great food at reasonable prices. Expect to pay $50 or so for dinner and drinks. The dishes were huge and extremely filling. There is a lot of different meats to try and it's great that they offer a platter for one. I recommend the platter for sure. The schnitzel can be a little dry though so make sure you opt to get something that includes sauce. Also be sure to check their website and signs as they usually have a daily special event. The drink selection were also very unique. There were many different types of mixers and sizes of glass. It is worth a try if you haven't had German beer before. Overall, I recommend Bavarian Bier and will have it again in the future.

Omg... for $28+ delivered via Menulog was one of the most depressing meals I have ever seen and eaten in my life. The whole meal was cold. A handful of luke warm chips, a dark brown overcooked piece of tough chicken, watery and flavourless mushroom sauce (also cold) along with giving me the wrong drink. So basically... wouldn't recommend ordering off Menulog or eating at The Barvarian - kind of want my money back. Terrible.
