Would rate 4.5/5 if I could. I've always loved Ban Thai. They've always been consistent, have had friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Only thing I would sort of critique on is sometimes they're food can be inconsistent but that's not a major thing at all.

The yellow curry can be made vegan. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I'll return if I'm in the area.

If you are hungry and passing through Goulburn with a little bit of time on your hands, don't stop for fast food but rather take a short detour to grab some delicious and reasonably priced Thai food. Located on a quiet street just off the main street, this little restaurant serves up an impressive menu of delicious dishes. Lots of seating inside and friendly staff make it a great place to have a bite.

Went to Ban Thai based on the reviews. There were a lot of customers but I found the food quite ordinary. My friend enjoyed his vegetarian green curry. My dish was vegetables and tofu with a gluggy and not very spicy peanut sauce. It certainly didn't have any Thai flavor. We had the same coconut desert which sounded nice on the menu but lacked flavor and freshness.
