Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant

This has become my regular! Staff are supper friendly, and the food is so good. Coming into winter, their hearty meals hit the spot! Have to try their goulash.

I went to this Austrian Beer Cafe with my brother today. The food was excellent. Most importantly the beer, with focus on Austrian and German beers was special. On tap Beers in this place are a standout. Treat yourself to European beers and give the fruity crafty beers a miss from the trendy crafty outlets.

Great food and awesome location. Good deals etc. Just needs more customers for more atmosphere so get amongst it. We love it!

Unfortunately the shared entree platter did not come with dipping sauces as written on the menu. The main meal of a ploughmans platter had one and a half slices of basic cheese. Not sure what the biscuits and bread rolls were for. No plates given to put our food on ( shared platter). The stars are only because the staff were nice and friendly.

We have beers there of an afternoon during happy hour... Awesome spot.

At Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant you have many beer options, very tasty food and the staff are smiling, friendly and attentive! The place is very beautiful and has a very cool themed decor. Plus it has a perfect view of the beach! We went to lunch with some friends and will definitely go back there more often. On Sundays there is live music!

It used to be awesome but seems to have gone massively downhill (I assume under new ownership). The staff aren’t great, also the menu is much smaller and feels more like a generic pub menu. The food is still decent, but the overall experience is lacking.

Schnitty was pretty good, however our order was misunderstood. Potato salad not a fan.

A fabulous meal, delicious food prepared to perfection. Delightful staff dressed in traditional Austrian attire. Kind, friendly, helpful service. Excellent decor. Open high roof room combined with Austrian furnishings and stylish decorations creating fantastic atmosphere. Seating inside and outside. Views of Dee Why beach. Very enjoyable from all aspects. Comfortable for small and large groups, plus open bar and table service. B.Y.O Monday and Tuesday only. Plenty of parking around D.Y.

nope food used to be good .but i guess they got complacent . staff or owner ( no sure ) little too arrogant for my liking . 2 for 1 meal ... well i guess you get what you pay for . too bad .i used to like eating there .
