Aus Viet

Wonderful food, fantastic service. I go here a lot. Aust Viet is the only cafe I know where they will seat you, give you a drink and feed you snacks while you wait for your takeaway, all with a smile! As a result, Aus Viet feels very welcoming to me and I keep coming back. The food is delicious and prepared with love. All very fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are quite large as well!

Ordered a vegetarian fried rice and there was meat throughout… so obviously not vegetarian.

Really nice spicy beef pho and bun rieu. Service was very good too. However ordered spring rolls that were precooked by the looks of it as it came out too quick. Otherwise really recommend the soups!

The rooms were average but the bistro and the bar area was great.

Simple and delicious food. The bahn mi vegan was packed full of herbs and marinated tofu and the Hue noodles were swimming in spicy and lemon grassy broth. I wish this place was in Sydney.

Ordered the pork crackling Bahn Mi which was pretty good. Nothing to write home about. The main dishes looked really good but didn't order any. Prices seem relatively high. Will return.

Delicious food and amazing staff ! :) Had the veg bun and a side of crackling pork while my partner had the Stirling pho, all perfect and some of the best we've had. Highly recommend !!

Fantastic. Spied the owner of Cyclo having lunch there too, so that's quite an endorsement. We're so spoilt for choice with great Vietnamese in Hobart now!
