Amazing Indian food and service! This place is our regular Indian restaurant. Food is authentic and reminds us of home cooked food. Can order anything off the menu and won't go wrong!

Never had fine-dining Indian food before so this was an incredible dinner experience! All of the savoury food was fantastic. Our favourite was the dessert - white chocolate sphere. The venue is gorgeous, clean and in a beautiful location near the beach in St Kilda

One of the best restaurants in Melbourne for fine dining Indian food. The food was exceptional. The presentation was fantastic. I have never had such soft naans that literally melt in your mouth.

Atta Restaurant was a wonderful experience a great food and service and ambience too very plush setting for a humble Indian cuisine served very michelin way, order a starter of bite size Tandoori chicken on Betelleaf with cabbage Foogath and balsamic pearls, raan with airy smoke and lamb ribs with Asian touch, main course was mushroom methi and lamb curry with assorted tandoori breads, and dessert was saffron Panacotta, all and all great experience in restaurant and enjoyed thoroughly.

We had dinner last night in Atta with an intention of having a fine dining experience. It is not a first time for us to come here. Every time we were impressed by the service and food as well. However, this time was an utter disappointment. We had some entrees and some curries, naan for sharing. It’s good for the servers to introduce every dish while they serve. However, they should acknowledge all the elements in the dishes and present it in a way which exceeds our expectation. There is a girl came to our table to serve us. It seems like she is confused and lack of confidence. A great food is nothing without a great hospitality. And in this case, I doubt the services provided meets a fine-dining standard. After we finished the samosa, we saw she broke two dishes in the middle of restaurant while she talks to customers. Apparently, she showed to us that she has no experience either. We were quite surprised with something like this happened! As mentioned above, i am not the first time to come here, every time I am so impressed with the food and the location of Atta is beyond perfect, it’s just next to the beach. But I’m sorry that all these pros cannot overweight the cons. I also noticed that the team has been changed which I hope it’s not the reason for service to go down. Moreover, we ordered a bottle of wine with a server doesn’t know to serve a wine. It just ruined my impression with fine dining! That’s a shame... Last but not least, accredited to John which is our server, brings a lot fun to our table. He is passionate person with a composure attitude. They should have more people like this in a team. If we come back next time, we will come back for you, John!

.This was our first time at Atta. Tried this upon a friend's recommendation for a special occasion. The location & ambience was cosy, but we were blown by the food prices. All veg entrees are individually sized and costs from $18 - $28 per entree per person. 1 piece of samosa wasn't worth $18 . Mains are also overpriced but not as bad as entrees. Service was mediocre. Waiters 5 to b called each time we needed even a water refill. Overall I would not go again for the price and limited vegetarian options. Food quality and taste couldn't be faulted though but nothing special
