Both of Anki's restaraunts make amazing Indian food. Authentic, fresh and not oily. You might need to wait a bit for your food to arrive but it's worth it. The prices are fair for the great quality food. Been amazing for 10+ years that I've been going.
I don’t understand how this place can get any 4 or 5 star reviews unless they’re fake. Me and my wife went there for dinner. Ordered two dishes and naan bread. The chicken was undercooked and not marinated and the sauce was very bland. Customer service was non existent, the waiter just dumped the food on our table then went to the back and never checked on us. We left after just eating one bite of the two dishes. We have never left food behind, so this was very unusual for us. I took one bite and literally could not put another into my mouth. Would not recommend to anybody.

Ordered dinner from here tonight, 11th April 2020, partner and I ordered close to closing of business time and they were still willing to cook our order. Got butter chicken, rice and garlic and cheesy naan; butter chicken wasn't too hot, rice was perfectly cooked and the garlic cheesy naan was nicely cooked. Will definitely order from them again in the future, thank you!

Reading some fair to muddling reviews of this place, so I thought I'd weigh in. Food - Tasty, so tasty, and serving size was great (unless you're a fat lump of a thing) Staff - Friendly and competent. If you book ahead, you're sweet, if you just show up, you'll have to wait. Harsh, I know. Tables - Huge! I'm 6'4" so this matters :) I would go again in a heartbeat. I've been to 2 Indian restaurants in Katoomba and have only reviewed 1.
