2345 South Ocean Boulevard 33480, Palm Beach
You might come here for the golf, the Palm Beach par 3 designed by Ray Floyd is the best par 3 course in the county. But Al Fresco is a must when your round is over. With amazing views of the course and the Atlantic ocean you'll feel an overwhelming sense of peace. The food is absolutely delicious. The crab appetizer is super tasty, and don't miss the savory shrimp cocktail. Beers by bottle and on tap, and plenty of wines to choose from. Every entree we've ever had was perfect. If you want an extremely pleasant experience that will give you a taste of the food life, don't miss Al Fresco. The staff follows all social distancing guidelines. Ray Floyd's U.S. Open trophy is in the lobby.
We try to come here at least four or five times a year. The ambience is excellent. We sit outside on the back porch facing the ocean and watching golfers play below. The fruit is fabulous. Last night I had the best lasagna I’ve had since I’m living in Florida. The chopped vegetable salad with the salmon area was my wife’s choice and she loved it. Shirley was our waitress and she was very sweet and efficient This place is fabulous.
My husband and I were referred to this restaurant by our very good friend. The ocean views were spectacular and we were going to make a future reservation for our family coming in from Thailand. We sat at the bar, had a drink and looked at the menu for our party. My husband then had ordered an espresso and a dessert menu. They didn't have one so the bartender told us what they had available. He had ordered the NY style cheesecake. The espresso came out right away but the cheesecake came out 15 minutes later with a big chunk missing from the front of it. He asked kindly to the waiter to please get him a full piece of cheesecake. The waiter SLAMMED it so hard next to me on the bar, I jumped. He was so rude and disrespectful, yelling to his co workers that were standing by the bar, that the cake is FINE! It was so embarrassing and I was so shaken up that we left. We will never return again and we LIVE here!!!!
Absolutely nice restaurant, good food and nice service at bar 3 golf course in Palm Beach. Awesome seaview👍
Romantic Atmosphere, Great Service, Outstanding food !
Here's a taste of that hard to find local knowledge you are always searching for... I can safely say that this particular location of Al Fresco redefines "hidden gem." Nobody just stumbles across this place. It's buried on a golf course. Not any old golf course. An ocean front golf course. In Palm Beach county no less. And it's open to the public. No golfing required. No membership. Nothing. Valet parking at the door. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. Additionally the bar draws a very eclectic local crowd. After all, Mar-a- Largo is just up the street. Here's what I do... I go for breakfast. Yes breakfast. Get there around 8:00am. Self park for free at the door. Walk upstairs to the second floor or take the elevator. Hostess will greet you. It will NOT be busy at that time. Sit out on the balcony, overlooking the golf course and the OCEAN! All the breakfasts are well above average. Service is delightful. Location confirms that this IS a genuine "hidden gem." Now you know. So go. And don't you dare tell anyone about this place. Let's keep it our little secret...
Used to be better. Everything has slipped. They are trying hard but It's not the AlFresco I used to love. I was disappointed in the casual seeming atmosphere and dress of my fellow diners and the reduced food quality. Where was the home made truffle gnocchi? Where was the beautifully served (and dressed) Ceasar salad? The food wasn't bad it just wasn't what I was used to having here. There's nothing wrong with Al Fresco, it's just a casual Italian restaurant now, not the special place it used to be.
Had a good dinner last night. The pizza was very good, as were the truffle fries. The carpaccio was stuck to the plate, evidence of pre-plating well before service. Laura was an excellent server. Thanks.
One of my favorite spots. Dine on the upper floor screened porch overlooking the ocean. And great food!
Great Italian spot at the par-3 golf course in southern Palm Beach. Right on the ocean. Great food, drinks and views!
