Having both my parents born in Lebanon, you can imagine the kind of food they prepare at home. It’s definitely an advantage but sometimes, I just love to go out for a Lebanese feast and Al Aseel in Greenacre, is one of the top two places I go to. The thing I love most about Lebanese food, is that it’s quick to prepare and it all comes out at once. It’s best enjoyed in groups, just so you can order a mix of everything. Banquet menus are very popular so be sure to enquire to get the best value. I think we did pretty good in ordering for two though! We started off with a couple of mocktails (no alcohol available unfortunately) but they were really delicious. We ordered a few mezza dishes which included some dips, a tabouli salad, some sausages, chicken wings and potatoes and then ordered kafta from the grill as it’s a nice and juicy meat skewer. ‘Kafta Mishwe’ Kafta skewers, garlic dip, onion & parsley mix. When ordering skewers, I usually order this because it’s such a juicy meat. It’s basically a beef meatball. I usually wrap a little in Lebanese breed and then dip it into hummus and oil. Bliss! ‘Sujuk’ Spiced sausages with lemon. These are the perfect little sausages with so much flavour. Squeeze a generous amount of lemon onto them and wrap into Lebanese bread. ‘Jawaneh Bi Kizbarah’ Fried chicken wings, coriander, garlic & lemon. This is my favourite, simply because of the garlic and lemon. The fried chicken wings are coated generously and it’s just so freakn’ delicious. ‘Dip Platter’ Hummus, baba ghanouj, labneh, beetroot dip, served with olives, zaartar kaak & bread. I mean, you can’t go wrong with some delicious dips and freshly fried, crispy Lebanese bread! ‘Batata Bi Kizbara’ Fried potato, coriander, garlic & mild chilli. I love potatoes when they’re prepared like this. The potatoes are crispy on the outside but fluffy and full on the inside. Perfect amount of garlic and chilli to finish. ‘Tabouli’ Parsley, tomato, onion, burghul, sweet pimento, olive oil & lemon dressing. My favourite salad overall. My favourite way to eat it, is by scooping some in a lettuce cup and eating it with my hands, just like San Choy Bow! If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese food, visit Al Aseel in Greenacre. Take your family, take your friends and make a night out of it!

Very nice and clean. Customer service 5/5 Food presentation 5/5 Food taste 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Prices 4/5 Would I return. YES I recommend to anyone who appreciates middle eastern food. Hygiene can be trusted and makes the gourmet experience to be worry free. This only issue that I experienced- in the M toilet one of the sinks was blocked and needed attention. Very clean and tasty! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This is 2 star not for the quality of food or sweets they offer but rude staff attitude towards customers, we went to this place in last week of April 2021 , just few days back and we were forced to leave the shop as they said we are running short of supplies and will close the shop though shop was full of items, they have delicious Arabic sweets and biscuits..if staff is friendly than this place if 5*...but still recommend for sweets and biscuits

We had a Mother's Day function for 12 people. The $55 per head for the standard banquet menu was good value with a full range of Middle Eastern fare all freshly prepared and served promptly. Includes free Italian mineral water. The hard floor on the outside terrace does make it noisy when crowded. Off-street parking available at rear.

It was a pleasant experience. The food was very nice and had the right lebanese touch in it. The only issue is how close the tables are to each other, it's like everyone is sitting next to each other. You can definitely hear all the conversations around you, it felt very loud.

Best Lebanese I have had in Sydney. Very flavourful. Try the dip platter and the kabab plate. Best to go with a large group so you get to try everything. We really enjoyed our experience. The mint lime juice is also a must have

When this restaurant first opened up it was amazing from the quality to the portions. Ever since then the prices went up and the portions got smaller. The quality isn’t that great either anymore. Don’t order the Lebanese sausages they are so disgusting and don’t even taste like Lebanese sausages. Really not worth it.
