Afghan Kebab

Dear Restaurant Owner, I would like to share the story of my last visit at your restaurant. After a long and a happy day, we decided to treat ourselves with a delicious dinner at a cozy restaurant and Afghan Kebab pops up in our mind. We ordered chicken kebab, roti and some kormas over the phone before arriving. We went there with a group, it was not busy. When we reached there, we ordered some more plates. It took 10 minutes for the food to arrive on the table. The plates were stunning. I asked for some cutleries from the girl who served us. She went back to the kitchen and said to another girl in punjabi "innay bala dimagh kharab kita aie"- which means I am bothering her by asking things. Both the girls made fun of us and the second girl brought us spoons and forks. And when she said that she did not realize I was waiting for my child food which I gave for heat up. We are visiting your restaurant since long. So my question is "shall we stop visiting your place or You are no longer able to provide pleasant and welcoming services?".

The best Afghan kebab ive had in Melbourne. Wont even bother going back to dandenong for Afghan food. Doesnt compare. These guys have perfected it

It was too busy so waited 45 minutes for takeaway even though I was told 20 minutes wait time. Interestingly, same time was given to all new customers despite the kitchen running behind on all the orders by 45 minutes. Food was average. It wasn't flavourful which made the wait not worth it at all. The serving size was small. 4 skewers felt more like 3. The yoghurt sauce was watery and tomato sauce was diluted too much. I was very disappointed. I did like the fresh bread, it was served hot from the oven. Prices are reasonable and meat was cooked well thankfully. The restaurant wasn't following any health guidelines due to Covid and lots of people just gathered at the counter for orders or pick ups. No mask and no distancing. I just waited in the car. Over all, below average experience. Considering I wouldn't be eating here again, it's a one star from my perspective.

Guys be very careful about food from this patathic restaurant. We ordered some food last night and it was rotten but unfortunately my kids ate it before I checked. Now both my kids are having food poisoning and im going to take legal action against them. Please don't play with your and your family's health. They sell rotten food. And if you still want to buy some food please do check before eating or giving it to your kids.

Best Chicken bbq and rice in town. Currys are a big no no
