A grey modern contrast to its surroundings, and modern Australian fusion cuisine that was spectacular. 10/10 would recommend

Highly overrated, food looks great but totally lacks any depth. Couldn't recommend it at all.

I simply cannot fault this dining experience in anyway at all. One of the best meals I have ever had, both courses were absolutely delicious and flavoursome. The fish and the chicken were cooked to perfection, and both well sized. The chicken pine nut crumb was something different and went down well, and it mixed perfectly with the parmesan and peppers in side salad. Yes, they pulled of the side salad which is a true compliment, considering I almost always hate them. The fish was a true masterpiece, it melted in your mouth, and possessed flavours I would never expect from such a dish. The lemon mash potato was different, but I absolutely loved every mouthful, the flavours mix unexpectedly well together. The olives, which often overpower other flavours added well to this dish, and they chose the right type of lighter olive for it too. The deserts were also fantastic, but I prefered the tart, even if it wasn't as asthetically pleasing as the roule. The staff were friendly, providing useful information about the area and the food arrived fast. The first meal I have had that I simply cannot fault.

Poor lighting, not too great on ambience. Attentive service without being pushy. Pirates Bay octopus was terrific as a starter, lamb rack cooked perfectly but accompaniments dull and sauce unidentifiable, dessert of Apple crumble tasty enough but again, lack of colour made it dull. Altogether, a 'brown' meal. Well cooked but unexciting. Also wine outrageously marked up. Way too expensive to make it a regular experience.

Was there for my birthday 2 months ago (just me and my hubby, who was sick and had to retreat back to accommodation half way through dinner) before heading off to the ghost tour of Porr Arthur by myself. I completely enjoyed the duck which was cooked perfectly and that sour cherry sauce is just icing to the cake. For dessert, I had a mulberry tart that was just delicious!! I wish I had a bigger stomach to try the other delicious dishes!!

As this is part of a tourist attraction we weren't expecting much. Luckily the food was great and fantastic value with the ghost tour. Highly recommended!

Went as part of the After Dark package. Food was presented well but bland, apart from the arancini. Service a bit slow, drink order was wrong for both of us but left it as we had a time limit. May be better if you choose from the full menu, not the package.
