While visiting Gympie in October we had a wonderful meal in your Bistro I had the salmon dish and I can honestly say it was the best I've had in a long time. My husband had steak and we shared a good red with it. Delicious..

One of the best Seafood Restaurants ever. Ive been eating sea food here since I was 15. (i am 29) The service is impeccable, and the balcony of the restaurant sits on the water of Georges River. It is a pricy restaurant, but is definitely worth it for a special occassion. The atmosphere is very soft and romantic. There is parking right outside the restaurant for free so its easy to get to. The seafood platter is absolutely perfect!!!

I used to like the austral, but it seems to pricey for a beer, smells terrible and has put service if you are on the wrong side of the bar, playing pool.

When I visit my mother in Tweed Heads (and I did in June) we always head out to Chouxbox in Queenscliff as they have the best coffee. They also have great food but the coffee is just the best. Creamy texture on top with a full bodied blend of coffee served at just the right temperature. I hae tried others in Coolangatta and Tweed Heads but it just doesn't come up to Choux Box.

Great space and the family loved the banquet. Danielle (I think looked after us)was wonderful, took food home; just terrific stuff: simple flavours, simple decor but welcoming - a buzz, It's not fine dinning and the kids felt welcome. The red plastic stools get a bit hard after an hr though.

A very modern, open, bright new pub with lovely views of the park. However we were very disappointed by the quality of the orange juice, and lemon, lime and bitters drinks we had.

$23.50 mon-thurs evenings, $29.50 Sat & Sun for an all you can eat tip top classy buffet. You name it, they have it, and what a fine selection of grub is on offer. A ton of starters, entrées, main meals, and sweets of all kinds. It's busy, but great value, and the kind of place that should satisfy food snobs and tiny tots and all sorts as lets face it you pick what you want and east as much as you like. The first of many visits.
This place was unexpectedly huge inside, there's the indoors area, then a long outdoor area as well as upstairs. More than one bar area, and despite how packed the place was, didn't have to wait long to get served. Staff were efficient and helpful, drinks were well-made. The food menu looked very interesting and fancy, although higher prices as well, outside my preferred price range for the night.
