We have always enjoyed our experiences at Catch 22, even having our wedding reception there. The food is always delicious and the cocktails enjoyable. However when we dined over the recent weekend we were disappointed with the service. We booked for four people for the All You Can Eat Tapas menu at 2:30pm. Upon arrival we were spoken to by four different staff members regarding our booking and were asked to wait before being seated. Our friends however were already at the table but we could not see them behind a curtain. After waiting for almost 10 minutes we were taken to our table where our friends had been sitting for nearly 20 minutes. Our friends told us that the restaurant staff told them we had to leave by 4:00pm as the All You Can Eat Tapas menu came with a 1.5 hour time limit which we were not aware of when booking and this is not in any of their advertising for this deal. Our orders were taken approximately 10 minutes after this which meant we only had just over an hour to order and consume the dishes we ordered, which were ordered at the completion of finishing each course. Originally we had planned to also order the $25 All You Can Drink menu however after realising we would not have had enough time to have a drink with each course we instead decided to purchase our own drinks. Drinks were only provided when each course of food was delivered to the table and we could not have responsibly consumed 5 drinks in an hour. It was a disappointing experience for a restaurant we have always enjoyed and had great service at.

Went out for dinner with my partner tonight. The staff were so friendly, the food was very flavourful and just so nice. Definately recommend and will be back
