Not an extravagant place on the outside but the food on the inside was exceptionally good. Some of the best satay I have ever had but the wife's lemon chicken was a bit over battered for her liking. We were there on a slow night for eat in but the takeaway was steady all night. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for a good feed in Derby

this BP has the ability to be so much more than it currently is. The fuel prices are competitive and the forecourt has all the facilities you expect from a BP service station, but when you go inside, things seem a bit...under-utilised; There is so much free space inside the shop it's unreal yet they only use about 30% of it. If they were to put extra shelves and more stock, they could compete against the Woolworths and Rusty's IGA. they could easily turn this into a mini-mart. But instead they choose to have a lot of empty space. Staff are friendly and helpful, prices are typical for a service station (i.e. expensive). Bring in more stock>sell more stuff>lower your prices!

Wow, what a find this place was. Quietly touring the north-east and getting hungry along the way, we stopped by thinking of a sandwich. The chef warmly welcomed us and cooked a very tasty calzone, which we enjoyed with a satisfying coffee next to the fire - magnifico!
