Looking for the best Pho on Victoria Street, well stop looking. The simple canteen style decor is well worn, and for very good reason. As the focus is on Pho, the menu is not that extensive, but that would not cause complaint. Tea is complimentary on arrival. The stock has a very traditional taste and comes with condiments which allow you to create your own flavour. The pho is served with bean shoots, Asian basil, chill and lemon ($8). The pho comes in beef, chicken, and a variety of offal, with your choice of noodles. Smaller bowls are on offer ($6). A Stewed Beef Pho is also available. Be sure to give the Spring Rolls ($6 x 10) test run, served with Vietnamese mint, iceberg lettuce and dipping sauce with shredded carrot. Very fresh and crisp. Part of the joy of dinning here is constructing the dishes for your own tastes, and it is very economical. Chu can be bustling and service is always fast. It certainly has a good reputation amongst other pho lovers and rightly so. It has been a cornerstone on the strip for years, and it looks like it will be for years come.

Went in there at quite a busy time, thought we were lining up in what looked to be the queue instead we ended up being the last people served after waiting a while. There should be a system in place for stores such as this as people aren't polite enough to let you go first when you were standing in front of them.

I love eating here, when I saw the bad review for the parma I had to say something. Their parma like everything else they serve is fantastic. One of my faves.

Intimate dining at the back, smallish bar at the front, good beer & wine list, not a poki in sight! lovely pub.

Really great pho . Vermicelli with pork also very good. They also do really good rice paper rolls. Also one of the few places that do vegetarian pho. Nice people too.

Ma Foosies, The Cafe Restaurant is located on Bridge St. in a lovely historic building, The decor is in appropriate rustic style, with a number of historical photos around the walls. Along with a large log burner, which creates a very cosy yesteryear ambience.. The word 'Foosie' was used in Ireland by Mrs Duffy Senior to describe all sweets and treats she found irresistible. The selection on offer of "Ma's Foosies", is small but inviting. Included are steak, seafood, chicken and fettuccine, followed by irresistible deserts. We started with a generous serve of creamy delicious pumpkin soup. Followed by two large Scotch Fillet mignon steaks, with a bacon & creamy mushroom gravy, served on a bed of sweet potato mash, accompanied by a side order of well prepared greens. Tasty and cooked to perfection. Our dessert was a whole generous size Apple Pie, served with cream and ice cream, just like grandma used to make. A dining experience very appropriate to the picturesque historical town of Richmond. Good call.

I should've stuck with all day breakfast. Possibly not best to splash out on the lunch menu. I had huge order envy.

Now, I am ONLY reviewing this place as a lunchtime venue as it's all I have experienced there. Typical pub fare here, but done very well. GREAT parmas and steaks and a great selection of beers. Can get SUPER busy on a Saturday night though...
Excellent service. Breakfast dishes elevated.
