One of the best banh mi in Melbourne for me! It was busy so I had to wait a while but the line moved pretty fast. There was a good amount of fillings and the buns were nice and crispy!
There's always a queue which is a good sign, 1st time I've been there and not disappointed. Delicious, quick, cheap & lots of choices. Thanks
DO: Any of the banhs. DONT: Know? The ladies will customize to your liking TIP: There will be a line but it moves fast
VIETNAMESE AT ITS BEST! After returning back from my holiday in Vietnam and having that many bahn mi rolls i was addicted. This place is just what i needed. Even though its a small shop they produce the goods. The flavours are packed in their rolls and they are very very reasonably priced which i believe works in their favour as it makes me want to buy more and i love it. Friendly staff. Fast service. Everyone should try this place! I am forever loyal!!
Best pork rolls in Melbourne. Drive out of my way just to go grab one
Top-tier Banh Mi joint! From the entry to exit, the service was swift and efficient. Not the friendliest service in the world but it's completely understandable considering how the staff are on their feet all day 🙌 The bread rolls were on point: fresh, and beautifully soft on the inside. Not to mention, ample amount of fresh fillings, liver pate, and egg butter which add to the overall deliciousness. Utterly satisfying meal. All the Banh Mis here tasted amazing but Crispy Pork was my favourite (Crispy Pork > BBQ Pork > Mixed Ham > BBQ Chicken). Highly recommend! - #melbfoodiemark #phuocthanh #phuocthanhbakery #banhmi
One of the all time great Banh Mi in Melbourne. Some tasty other little bakery treats, Doughnuts, Pork puff, Pasties.
High quality banh mi. All their varieties are good, but I have a preference for the crackling pork, and the meatballs. You have to get there before the rush though, lest they run out of pork. What makes them different from others I've tried is the use of a hoisin-like sauce which adds a lot of umami and a bit of sweetness. The rolls are fresh, the price is right, and the staff are efficient.
Best banh mi’s in Melbourne. No contest. Get the crispy pork banh mi for $8. The bread is what makes it; crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Only thing that bothers me is I wished they had some sort of line or queue set up during peak hours, as it sometimes get queue jumpers and all goes to chaos. Totally avoidable. Accepts EFTPOS & CC.
Visited for the first time last weekend after hearing about the banh mi and was not disappointed. This is a classic Vietnamese bakery with multiple staff serving customers, most food is made on-site (if not all) and they are vegan friendly.
