Amazing pizza. So many wonderful pizzas on their menu. Their bases are sublime and I've never, ever been disappointed with them (well, aside from the fact they're not open on Wednesdays). Best pizza in Melbourne. Make no mistake.
Coburg North Village Shop 10, 174-196 Gaffney St & 1 Lens St, Coburg North
Can be cold in winter with doors constantly opening.
Here is why I love Coburg drive in: - its cheap. $40 is the maximum you will ever pay for a carload (you have the option to pay single ticket prices) and on Mondays it is halved to $20. - You can sit in the front seats, or face the back of your car to the screen if you have a station wagon and chill in the back, or pull up some fold out chairs and sit outside the car. And you still don't have to worry about the stranger next to you chatting, using their phone or crunching loudly like the cinema. - You can take your own food and drinks, or walk to the candy bar and buy delicious (although a bit expensive) popcorn, hot-dogs, chippies and drinks, or if you feeling lazy, you can SMS the candy bar and they will bring it to you. - The sound of the movie is tuned in through your radio so you can have it as loud or soft as you like.
