A superb meal and excellent service. The steak was cooked to perfection, vegetables scrumptious and dessert that I will remember for a long time. The cold tomato, garlic and chive tea was a refreshing surprise. I will definitely return when I'm in Penola again. Thanks for a great dining experience 👍

Locally owned with great wines and beautiful surroundings - I recommend the Rose and Reserve Cab Sav, stocked up for coming back to Melbourne. Brian also makes the best coffee (Padre) in Coonawara!

A selection of your standard Australian chip shop offerings, decently priced. I highly recommend the battered fish, fresh and cooked perfectly and very generous serving for about $5 per piece. 1 star deducted as service was lacklustre and even a little bizarre at times... The chips were a bit undercooked.
We stopped here on the way through Penola, and a fortuitous stop it turned out to be. The owner makes the best coffee I've had anywhere out of the city. He is quick and efficient. No pointless latte art, just great coffee. The place is small, but there was a steady stream of customers coming through, many of them obviously regulars. There is a small selection of pastries, as well as simple meals available
