I visited the restaurant yesterday to celebrate my wife's birthday and was very impressed at my first time there. Though the ambience (and the noise!) leave something to be desired, the service and, most importantly, the food, was excellent. My wife had a noodle dish and I opted for the Rice Hot Pot. She commented that there was perhaps too much meat (but then she is on the Dukan diet, again!) but enjoyed it with the addition of some chillies. I really enjoyed my Rice Hot Pot, an imaginative concoction of chicken, Chinese sausage, roast pork shrimps water chestnut and mushroom topped by, of all things, by a fried egg! Truly hot and very tasty. A nice glass of Penfolds shiraz/cab topped off an excellent meal. We will definitely be returning.

Great tasting food that comes out fresh on a hotplate, fast service little pricey for the combos, no eftpos

Honestly the best Laksa I've ever had in my life (I had the vegetarian one)... and the best Roti I've ever had in my life - TRY THESE THINGS IF YOU GO! They are vegetarian/vegan friendly! :D ....and they are very reasonably priced ^.^

Delicious food, really cosy. Worth noting that it's fairly expensive for the size.

Really surprised with the negative feedback! Best Laksa in SA by a mile!

Our first experience of Cafe 82 was a last minute take away, we placed our order half an hour before the kitchen closed. The green chicken curry and coconut rice, pad Thai, and vegetarian stir fry were all excellent. Light and not oily and full of flavour. The complimentary spring rolls as part of a December special and the amazing service meant we had a really great experience. Would (and will continue to) highly recommend!

Excellent place if you like noodle soup. Try the char shiu pork noodle soup. It's the best.

It was amazing food, it's K chef from near Gillies Plains before. Staff were so nice, and such a friendly environment to have either a meal or coffee. Recommended!!

When it initially opened, the food was much much MUCH better than it is now. Now, I only come here for tea tarik and the noodle dishes...The curries are so disappointing...even more when my friends referred the curries as soups. I think the standard has dropped which I hope they'll raise soon so more people can enjoy authentic Malaysian food. Furthermore, most of the dishes run out quickly. Good your dishes are selling like hotcakes but very disappointing...especially when I came at 6pm (they close at 9.30pm) and the staff told me all they got was rotis and no curries no rice or noodles. Mamak corner in Sydney was great though. Very busy so you got to wait for dishes a little while but very delicious food with good service.

The best Banh Mi and Pho in Adelaide. The place is always packed, make sure you get there early enough before they run out of that beautiful pork!
Unbelievable. Best Thai food in Adelaide...hands down. Will be heading back with friends ASAP.
