What a beautiful boutique hotel! Everything is on the details! Very confortable bed, beautiful touches in the room, mini-bar and treats included (never seen before) and also delicious breakfast! The location is great, close to shops, restaurants & bars. The rooftop is beautiful too, perfect for a little party, the barman is super friendly and the rest of the staff too! I will be back for sure and recommend it 100%! Thanks for this beautiful experience! See you soon Limes Hotel!

Level 1, Shop AM3 Ada Lane 46 James St, Fortitude Valley

Great bar above Same Same. Massive tequila list. The outdoor space has a large balcony with lounge seating and tables that look over the laneway at Calile Hotel, just below the pool deck. Very stylish. Good crowd on a Thursday night without being over crowded. Highly recommended for a pre or post dinner drink.

Brunswick Street Mall 281 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley

I feel customer service is one of those thankless jobs...in saying that 7 Eleven Brunswick street Mall would easily be one of the most challenging areas to work from and I have to say my daily visits to this store make my day! The staff are courteous and friendly! The store is always well presented, spotlessly clean and well stocked. I love my morning chats and my carrot muffin!

Nasi & Mee Malaysian Canteen (Order via our Website)

1/421 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley

Nasi and Mee means rice and noodle in Malay, and that’s about as basic as my Malay language skills go. It’s also the name of a new Malaysian canteen operating out of the same kitchen as Stone and Copper in Fortitude Valley. I was in the area and took the opportunity to try some dishes when there was a 15% discount for online orders. Our order: * bihun goreng, $16.90 - wok fried rice noodle with egg, shallot, kecap manis and prawns * roti murtabak, $10.50 - roti canai stuffed with chicken mince and egg Total price paid was $23.70 after the discount and adding the mandatory 1.5% mandatory service charge. We were hoping for an earlier lunch but even though the place opens at 11am, the earliest pickup time slot is 12pm. It is takeaway only - if you’re lucky you might be able to get one of the few available communal seats/tables in Central Brunswick to enjoy your meal straight away. Wifey had the bihun goreng and thought it tasted ok but it could’ve had more goreng to it. The serving wasn’t particularly generous for a $17 dish, though the 3 prawns were a decent size and fairly plump. I am undecided with my murtabak - was expecting more of the crispiness and flakiness of a regular roti canai but only got some crisp in one corner - we collected our food promptly at 12pm and ate our meals straight away so it wasn’t like the food had been stewing in a closed container as tends to happen with takeaway/delivery foods. The venue has been getting quite good reviews in a Malaysian facebook group, but my experience didn’t seem to hit the same heights. Might try some of their main meals and/or regular roti canai options if I happen to revisit.

Great little restaurant and bar. Stopped in for a quick drink and found a delectable (but limited) selection of craft beers. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff were fantastic. Had a great chat to them about the state of craft beer in Brisbane.
