The tofu burger I had was fantastic. It was huge! The bread was fresh and it was packed full of veggies. My dad said the chicken burger was great too. Great value compared to the cafes around it.

Nice place. Shame I had to rush the breakfast and nice fresh juices. Would have liked more pulp though... still pretty nice place to stop on the trip from syd to brissie.

Best coffee in town, interesting food using local produce. Killer almond croissants made on site, the trouble is they sell out too quickly. Mark and Alan are great hosts and do their utmost to make your experience at their cafe memorable. It's always busy........ they must be doing something right. I've made it my daily drop in for a coffee and one (or two) of those elusive almond croissants:)

La Casita is so good. Our experience in Brunswick this evening was perfect from the moment we arrived. Service was breezy and friendly, the courtyard was cool with nicely spaced seating and the menu had the perfect amount of options to get us excited. The meal started with the oyster ceviche, a nice variation on the usual fish/prawn/scallop numbers we're more accustomed to; it was nicely acidic with a touch of bittersweet, the creaminess of the oysters worked really well in bringing all the flavours together, I'd have liked an element that brought a bit of crunch to the dish but it was delicious. A Tommy's Margarita was our opener from the bar, stiff and maybe a bit bitter but so good paired with our next snack. Our next starter, their "jalapeño popper", was a flavour bomb! Locally produced, perfectly ripe, spicy jalapeños stuffed with the juiciest sausagey mincemeat and soft white cheese... the peppers were roasted, served sweating out their hot tasty juices that were greedily slurped up off the plate! On to the tacos. The tortillas at La Casita are perfect. Slightly warmed, fresh corn tortillas that leave your fingers perfumed with the sweetness of the bashed and blitzed corn. Perfect thickness, a trusty vessel for the delicious fillings loaded up on them. We chose fish, lamb & pork. The fish, grilled snapper, was cooked evenly so the fish was tender but firm and joined on the tortilla by an avocado salsa and a light sour cream. We dripped the house salsa verde all over these and the result was epic. The next taco was a sexy succulent hunk of lamb cooked under hot coals, dripping with flavour served with a small bowl of it's juices in the side. This was my favourite. So much taste... The Astrid Mexican Lager from Yulli's is a great foil for any dish on the menu too. I felt like writing a respectfully detailed account of our night at La Casita as further thanks to Astrid (whom we'd never met before) and her team for making our night. We really enjoyed everything about the meal; relaxed vibes, delicious food, importance of ingredient, good drinks, genuine hospitality... I look forward to returning for more of the same.

Beautiful food, beautiful service, exceptional wine. Small and large plates that leave you full and satisfied. The front of house staff and the chef chatted us through our meal and explained the different aspects of the menu. Really loved it, the best place in Bruns for a lovely dinner.

Delicious food. Good service and a nice view. Had the goat cheese omelette which was tasty and had a good blend of flavors. The blueberry and apple pie was great too. Thanks guys 👍

Fantastic fish and chips... different fresh fish every day too! OMG, though, those spring rolls are to die for. They make them themselves and they are divine. The salad items are so interesting and fancy. Delicious dressings and veggies. My absolute fave is the dessert... they make a coconut sago pudding and you can get it with chocolate, raspberries, or peaches. I could live on it. Even the drinks selection is a cut above, with all the special Bundaberg flavours and lots of juices. YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE.

Been eating their food for years, Always great! Love the Garlic or Chilli Prawns, crab-meat omelette and the Special fried rice ( a meal in itself). Great restaurant! From someone who's just about lived on Chinese food all his life. Best Chinese in the Northern Rivers!

Pizza straight out of Italy, best cocktails in town and beer on tap. Incredible atmosphere with great music and service, staff are so friendly. Can’t wait to return!
The prices of the drinks are the most expensive that I have paid, even in Sydney. The live music is the only drawcard for my family and we tend to only buy one drink whilst there for the 3 hrs.The staff are unattentive and unfriendly. The meals are very good but have never changed in the 15 years I have lived here. Therefore I hardly ever eat here or take visitors here for a meal. Great Hotel for visitors but not good value for regulars.
