The food was OK. The meals are a little light on the meat, and the sauces were quite 'thin' - much thinner than other Indian I've had. Their saffron rice was mainly white rice, with a few yellow flecks through it. Overall, the flavour was ok to good, but the value wasn't there. (NOTE: I am comparing this to Indian we usually eat in Brisbane, this may be the standard fare in Canberra?).

Best Ali baba chips!! Kebabs are nice tooo but the meat portions and kebab sizes are a dissapointment. Their prices keep on going up but portions keep going down. Service is hit and a miss.

Won't be coming back untill few changes have been made. We ordered the $30 banquet for 5 people. Waited 35-40 minutes before the entree started coming out, so did the main course and the desserts. All three courses for 5 people came at once which hindered the whole experience as you can imagine. The rice came out pretty cold and hard as if it was cooked hours before serving All other items in the menu tasted great and came in reasonable quantity hence the 3 stars and not 1. Service was terrible. Even fast food joints have better service. There was a few times we needed the waiters assistance but he was no where to be seen. He (the one and only waiter working) was behind in the kitchen the whole time chitchatting with the chef as far as we could hear.
Love going to Erindale maccas with my grandchildren, i can have coffee whilst they have a play and i can keep an eye on them from the side room. Love it.
