Had a very nice teppanyaki experience in Samurai Teppanyaki House. Somewhat diverse selection of food (not only teppanyaki) and drinks. Very nice ambiance with a part of the kitchen extending into the dining hall, allowing for some interesting "shows" from the chefs (have yet to see one myself). Prices are what you would expect of higher class restaurants, but their lunch specials are good bang-for-your-buck for quite authentic Japanese food. Will come back again.
Wow... Incredible fish & chips! Of all the places I have been from far south to up north and everywhere in between SA, this is definitely my top pick! I suppose the quality would vary depending on the chef for the day, but in the two experiences I've had I was impressed by the quality of the food and the twist of flavour and creativity. The array of salads are delish! The fish I had today was grilled with olive oil and sea salt; it was flaky and perfect enough to break apart and eat with your hands. The tartar sauce isn't essential but for those that enjoy it, this one tastes very fresh and homemade with real, natural ingredients - it's slightly tangy with lemon juice. The chips were done just right, crunchy, light, and soft on the inside, not at all greasy or overly salty. Looking forward to trying more on the menu :) Staff were very friendly and considerate, as well.
The signature dish is a tasty novelty, but the serving size is very small. Entree sized but Mains price. That said, the dishes we had were wonderful, and their selection of other mains and desserts looked great. Atmosphere is nice, cozy and warm decor, and the staff are friendly: even inviting those who ordered it to watch their pasta dish be prepared in the flambé cheese wheel when the time came. All in all, check it out but don't expect to be blown away by anything (except perhaps the bill).
Authentic. Italian. Pizza. Forget about the score on Urban spoon, Clearly these people have not been to Europe and had proper Pizza, they probably grew up on Dominoes and Pizza hut. If you want the best pizza in Adelaide, look absolutely no further. Friendly and attentive staff, beautifully presented and reasonably priced considering the amazing food they offer. My girlfriend and I happened to stop in and I have to say it was the best decision we made, good coffee and THE DESSERT WAS AMAZING. Go try it out, you wont be dissapointed.
I cycled past and spotted this place. perfect open spot to relax on a hot Sunday afternoon. You can sit at the bar, drink a nice wine (or a cider in my case) and mellow to the tunes. The food looks great and the couple next to me said it was excellent. I trust them :-)
I went here with my mum and her partner, and would recommend it to everyone!! The foods and service is impeccable. I had the cheers toastie which is a must try!!. They even have a kids menu and milo milkshakes for you children. Awesome place thanks

The staff were very good as was the food and the price was reasonable. My only complaint is it's too hot in winter. People had booked a table in front of the fire and refused to sit there as it was so hot. Worse they had a large, portable outdoor gas heater 80cm from the fire which is dangerous, gets in the way of staff and patrons and makes us hesitate to go there in winter again as it has happened before. They would save money, room and frustration by getting rid of the heater. Otherwise a great place.
