#datenight The customer service here was very friendly. All the servers knew about the food and the drinks that were served. I came here based on previous reviews and wanted to judge for myself. I can say I was definitely not disappointed. All the dishes had amazing flavours and texture. Certain ingredients probably would not have tasted as delicious by themselves but they complimented each other so well when put together. I can close my eyes now and still remember all the flavours. We went with a set tasting menu which had two antipasti, which was followed by two pasta dishes and another main dish. We finished off the course with dessert of course. Will definitely come back to try some individual dishes that I wanted to try that weren't apart of the set menu.

big $$$$ for ridiculously small portions. First time I was charged $5 for 2 glasses of still water in my whole life! We spent $120 for 2 people and when we left we were still hungry! the crouton was burnt had just ONE anchovy and was tiny I seriously thought asking the waitress where the rest of my meal was gone! Whipped ricotta had too much honey and pepper on it.. I am Italian and ricotta is sacred.. they basically ruined it and charged $16 for a bit of ricotta with honey.. At least pasta was handmade but it had literally 6-8 micro pieces of overcooked guanciale and once again,, it was a small portion. I am Italian and did't have an Italian experience at all.. more like an expensive experience.. nothing was exactly special and could justify the price.. definitely not the 2 glasses of what looked like tap water

We had a great dinner here. Reading the other reviews yes the food embraces oil, salt and spice but as a result it is delicious! Rich and decadent. If you have a delicate palette or stomach maybe ask for advice on dishes that will give you more of a balance but otherwise there is so much to love about this restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a lovely experience

Great experience and dishes full of flavour, portions size could have been more generous maybe? Loved especially the Whipped Ricotta sweet antipasto and the Gricia pasta with guanciale πŸ‘Œ Floor staff was very friendly and professional, guiding through their wonderful selection of wines!

Wonderful warm people and service. Exceptionally professional and most lovely, take their time to really make you looked after, this is my local, sometimes I'm dressed to the pins or just after a nice crisp frothy in my house pants, they treat me the same.xo

We came here for dinner and ordered the set menu. The whipped ricotta and honey was different but really nice, that puff bread was light and fluffy and complimented the ricotta and honey. The following antipasti dishes was market fish and sicilian anchovy, the flavours were amazing in both dishes πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Following that was 2 pasta dishes, both were yummy but my favourite was the maccheroni verdi, lamb ragu, the flavour in that dish was perfectπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ, pasta was cooked good. Main was the market fish with jerusalem artichokes this dish was also very nice. Then we had dessert, it was a sorbet with basil oil πŸ€” now the oil on its own is not great but with sorbet it taste fine. Overall the experience was awesome, customer service was great. The place was packed but they were able to bring the dishes out in a timely manner.. I would have to visit here again to taste more dishes.

We had a fantastic meal here with friends. Wonderful service - very friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely atmosphere and geat menu with lots of share-dishes. Food was excellent- full of punchy flavours. The chocolate sorbet was absolutely divine.

Beware!!! We tried two different pasta dishes. One was way too spicy, the other one had way too much pepper. Very unbalanced. Also small portions and overpriced (~30$ small pasta portion). Service was quick, but staff just pretends to be friendly. Disappointed as they offered us first the worst table in the far corner instead of a better one in the middle of the room (20min before closure). Apparently they didn't like the way we dressed. Definitely NOT recommended!
