Food was ok but expensive. Service was terrible. Took 30 minutes to try and get the bill. Ended up lining up with tje people getting takeaway just so we could pay. Not a great experience
Went there recently after a long break and was please to see that they have expanded the whole place and updated their menu. It was good before but much better now. Great relaxed atmosphere that typifies the southern Goldie.

The great staff even found us a table when we didn’t have a booking. Great atmosphere. Tacos were pretty big compared to other places. Plenty of good drinks. The place is sick.
Store looks amazing, staff are great very friendly. Got 6 calamari rings and small chips for $13.8. Good serving size, good chips. Calamari were ok but something weird about them, maybe stale?
ordered online (UberEATS) and this is probably the best restaurant I have tried. Ordered the base platter and it was huge and sooo yum!
The cafe is a real treat to visit. The outdoor eating area is shady and restful. The food was incredible. The fruit and granola was filled with fresh fruit from strawberries to pink pawpaw - delicious. My mate tucked into a plate of poached eggs, avocado and bacon - also delicious. The warm Portuguese Custard tart was the best I have ever ever eaten. The freshly squeezed OJ? It really is squeezed in front of your eyes! Everything was delicious! Thanks “Team Custard Canteen” you sure know how to delight our taste buds.
