Hunky Dory

Being a fan of seafood it's hard to find a good fish and chip shop that uses fresh cuts and can cook the meals to perfection and come in decent size portions. Well worth the money. Will definitely be going back! 🤤

Great food. Great atmosphere. I had the grilled salmon pack and hunky green. Salmon was just perfect and melted in your mouth.

Went in for just some fish and chips, to realise that it was the tastiest meal I could have imagined. And it was even called what I was looking for “old skool” simple fish and chips with tartare. Crumbed or grilled both were amazing, environment was excellent staff on are friendly and created a great dinning experience. A1 place highly recommend!!

Was down palm beach the other day and went in to hunky dory. I decided on the royal burger after going over their amazingly tasty looking menu. Best burger I have had in years by far, and definitely can’t wait to be back down them ways to get another meal. Wonder what I’ll get next time..

I went to have dinner on 21/06/2021 and this is what I got for the Mediterranean seafood grill pack! 1 little piece of fish, 3 skinny strips of calamari and 2 prawns. Such a rip off! $18.50 for that! Never again. Hunky Dori is so good in Melbourne that I thought it would be the same in Palm Beach, but definelty it wasn't! I wasn't even offered the option to add chips or rice so I had to ordered after and got them by the time I finished this skinny fish. Really bad service, poor portions and average quality.

I've rated 3 but probably 3.5. No one's awarding Michelin stars but the fish and chips are solid.

Service was nice, but we're not eating the service. Calamari was tough as nails and over battered. Chips and scallops were the same. Small piece of fish was ok. Ended up tipping it in the bin and making meals for everyone at home. Will be trying another local to spend my hard earned at.

Great service, great atmosphere and awesome food. Don't know how they make the crumb for the fish but it's amazing! Great salad, burgers and the calamari was spot on. We will definitely be back.

1 person taking orders, 2 cooks, approx 6 people in restaurant. After waiting and waiting for my take-away fish and chips order, I asked to cancel the order if it hadn't been started. Again waited while this was deliberated on at length, only to be told they are unable to do refunds!!!

6 bucks for the smallest chips ever it sucks that u guys started out so good but as soon as your busy it all fall's apart pick up your game or locals will go elsewhere

Horrible food the place looks nice but food disgusting.my granddaughters cheeseburger made out of road tar my sea scallop stale my fish bites thick fish uncooked batter.stale oil used and its pricey bring back Lukas never a problem
