This is the closest to a proper British curry that I have been able to find in Sydney. Really tasty food at a decent price. Service was good.
Professional and friendly service. They have a huge range of plants and garden care stuff and lots of cute bits and pieces for decorating gardens and patios.... Oh and they have a plant doctor and can deliver raw materials!
This is the best Japanese Restaurant in my Area. For vegetarians it does the greatest agadashi tofu i have ever had. And the lotus root chips are very yummy. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Prices are great. under ten dollars for entree and then 10-20 dollars for mains or bento boxes. Great for a quick bite or a three course. A must try is the sashimi
I'm a Street Photographer so after taking my dawn piccies I ofter beCalm myself in the nice cosy cafe and chat and have a laugh witheither Caz, Cedric or Kisten. Coffees are great and they make em how I like em. Last Friday my partner and I tried their Mexican food which is served Thurs through to Sat evenings. We just had mains and found them very filling and tasty. I loved the homemade mini empanadas. The cafe is BYO. Staff made us feel very welcome. Thoroughly recommend.
We(11 peoples) visited this restaurant on 23/5/2015, Chinese food is good, taste is comparable to HK's Chinese restaurant. Though not much seafood selection. Anyway, you won't be disappointed. The owner speaks multi~languages including Cantonese, no communication problem at all.
Thought we would try the new Pilu outpost. Food was excellent! We shared starters - bruschetta, meatballs, burrata and squid. Then a selection of pasta, pizza and the veal for mains. All in all great quality food, and enough to get us to join the diggers to return again! Quick tip: if you are not a member of Harbord Diggers, you can join for $6 on the way in. You will then get 10% discount off your meals.
If we are headed to freshwater beach the first thing that comes to mind is a Portuguese burger from freshie burgers! This place is my all time favorite local burger joint. Fresh chicken's, fresh salads! Quick and easy staff are friendly and its close to the beach! Be sure to try the Portuguese chicken burger and add avocado for an extra amazing hit!

What a location - a beautiful cottage on the beach with fantastic food. Worth the price
