Best gelato ever, nice atmosphere, and nice, late hours. It's probably one of my favourite neighborhood shops.

Delicious modern lebanese. Emma's can get crowded and noisy but that's just people enjoying the great food. Try the banquet, that way you get to try lots of delicious goodies.

Visited last night for the first time and it definitely won't be the last! So awesome to see a place of this quality open in the inner west :) The fit out is completely flawless and the food is incredible! A highlight for us was the steamed dim sum platter and the coffee mousse dessert. Everyone who we encountered gave impeccable service so on a while we're just really excited to go back!

I was at the Golden Barley yesterday for mothers day..i wasnt expecting fine dining food but i certainly didnt expect the food to be as bad as it was! I could go into detail about how bad each dish was but rather than do that all i can say is yes go for drinks & stick to the mezze plates! (oh my dad didnt mind the steak..) I live locally and thought i would give the 'new menu' a shot - i am still scarred - We would have been better off staying home & cooking my mother something half decent or just going elsewhere! Sorry Golden Barley Hotel but it was a shocker!

I had dinner here last night and would highly recommend this addition to the ever growing list of high quality eateries along Enmore Rd. As you enter you walk through the listed 50's exterior into almost a Parisian 20's clean, white tiled interior. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There were a couple of minor blips but I guess they're still finding their feet and easily excusable in such a pleasant environment. Food was outstanding, tasty, well presented and uncomplicated. Everything we ate was delicious: home cured meat, eggplant salad, olives, scallops and pomegranate, deep fried calamari as small starter plates. Just enough for two very hungry guys. The main course of lamb shoulder was melting, succulent delicious, if a little underspiced. The grilled octopus was amazing, blew me away. Drank lovely light Turkish red, helped in our choice by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Finished with a couple of rakis. Will be back and hope they standard remains high.

The food at this place is very good. I went with the 7 course degustation and didn't regret it. I'd say the risotto was the pick of the dishes, but the rest aren't too far behind. Since it's a small dining venue, it can be quite loud, but also provides that feeling of it being packed out. The lighting is quite dim, but there are candles at each table to enhance that romantic feeling. Location is great and food is as well. Staff are really friendly and they provide more than enough bread with olive oil to keep you satisfied.
