nice place to eat

a fabulous experience from start to finish today as the 6 of us enjoyed a huge breakfast and great coffee with friendly wait staff and a table that was so spacious with a comfy seat. we were able to split bills which was great and the owner was really friendly. clean and tidy ... we will definitely be back ... thank you for having us :)

Had a great breakfast at Zelena Café in Croydon High Street. The service was friendly and the food and coffeee was excellent. They've just opened up again after the relaxing of Melbourne restrictions and had QR codes to sign in with and hand sanitizer to use. Really can't understand the negative reviews, as my pictures show the quality of the food is great.

The manager/owner was incredibly rude which is a pity as the place has so much potential. Customers should also not have to put up with their lip service to Covid requirements. I won't be back. There is plenty of choice along the shopping strip.

l love Zelena's Cafe. We were part of a group of 33 and food was delivered to our table piping hot and delicious. Congratulations to owner and staff. We will be back!!

Very friendly staff also very good food

Zelena cafe is beautiful, hidden cafe. Very clean and tidy, and can accommodate everything between a coffee between friends, and 120 people group functions. The owner is a greek lady, very kind and very passionate about her store. Although sometimes cracks under-pressure she tries her best. Only negative I really have is sometimes she speaks / corrects her staff in front of customers, which can be a bit awkward and embarrassing. The chef is very passionate and very talented at what he does. I will be returning :)

Ordered the chicken parma but received a schnitzel with ham and cheese. No sauce!! Only after eating a bit and realising did I ask if it were missing. It was. The waiter didn't offer another because "I don't think you will eat it all" and I got a small ramican of cold sauce. They gave me a small tart complimentary. Burger was a bit underwhelming. Honestly there are better places in the area. I was dissapointed as it looks like a good place.

Very accomodating STAFF and MANAGER, Well portioned food. Good Ambiance and coffee as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
