Yummy's Cafe

Ordered food, it was different to menu and when enquired about changing they were rude and non complacent. The staff didn't know the menu and didn't understand how to add certain things to there pos. Not worth visiting. For example the menu stated two flake and we received one and refused to change meal or price.

Me and my friends visited and we had the worst experience. The plates came out chipped. We waited of half an hour for banana bread and they brought the bread brocken in pieces. We refused to pay and the ladies qorking there didn't understand what was wrong at all. I don't think they really understand what quality service means. Don't bother going there if you want your food on time. You might be waiting for half a hour like we did. What a joke!

Absolutely hopeless. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. To start with, the cashier barely comprehends the order and struggles to enter it in the consul. Freezing cold inside with second hand smoke blowing in when the front door is opened whilst waiting 30 minutes for an omelet that arrived with a big load of toast that was NOT ON THE MENU and that I don't eat. Cheese and spinach omelet with a side of bacon came out as a diced (pizza style) ham and cheese omelet that was soooooo heavily salted it was inedible. When questioned there was a complete denial of any wrong doing in broken English whilst the poor lass who delivered the order looked on with embarrassment. Really sad to see a once great café turned into a circus. Will NEVER return. The damage is done.

I have been going to Yummy’s cafe for years. And never had any issues with their service nor the food they offered. I always got what I asked for and their service was excellent. Not sure what some people are saying here. It’s a disgrace they hide their faces to make reviews. Looks like jealousy got the best of them n cannot handle the success of this simple cafe. To the owners ignore these losers. Surely have not achieved anything good in life.

Saddened to see what was once an awesome place for weekend breakfast turn into what it is today. Sticky tables, the wiff of cigarette smoke from the outside tables, horrible food, bland coffee (a cappuccino isn’t a latte with chocolate sprinkles) vapid service. My mistake though it was empty at 930. A year ago you would struggle for a seat at Yummys by 9am Sunday.

It feels like the place is run down and in need of new owners and new furniture etc.

I feel like I just received a plate full of slop. Ordered the Vegetable Breakfast and added avocado, the eggs were disgusting, toast was stale and the “vegetables” if you could call them that were soggy and had zero taste. Not quite sure how you can call your establishment Yummys because it certainly wasn’t. 10/10 WOULD NOT recommend.

The hash browns were disgusting, they were greasy and smelled like fried fish, because they were dipped in the same oil as the fish sticks you offer to children. Your food is usually too fatty. Your cooking is an insult to traditional gastronomy. Change your cook quickly or close for hygiene reasons!

About one of the only few places in Waverley Gardens where you can sit down and have a coffee. Basic food like dim sims, pies and sandwiches, like you would expect from a old school take away. The service is friendly and fast.

I have been going to Yummys for years. We have an amazing group of friends who catch up for a Coffee and a laugh every day of the week. Great place to go if you want to enjoy the pleasant Staff and enjoy a great Coffee
