Yankee's Burger Bar - CBD

Staff are very nice and friendly. Burgers were tasty. Side of chips was a bit light on but overall food was enjoyable. Unfortunately, wait times were way too long. We were a group of four. Three ordered burgers and one ordered a hot dog. When we came in and ordered there were only three other tables. We waited about half an hour for our burgers to come out and the hot dog didn't come out until the rest of us had all finished our food. Restaurant itself was also slightly grubby and could've used a wipe down and the toilets were gross. So gross I passed on using them and went elsewhere to use the bathroom.

Best value burgers. New York burger brought me back to America. Well cooked and yummy patties. Burgers came with a side of crunchy fries. Aussie burger was also tasty. Balcony views on the upper level.

I had a great burger - the Ozzie - do NOT get pineapple as the sweet mayo and beetroot is more than enough. The food was very well presented, tasted great and fast service (although I was the only one there). Personally I wanted a bit more savory flavour but I'm impressed overall and would go back for something different. A surprise was the fries - very very good and cooked to order. A lot of places have poor fries versus burgers but not Yankees - don't skimp the fries and try them out!!!

Average. I've had worse and this wasn't too bad. Room for improvement. Burger was warm not hot. Pictures in the place raise the expectations too high for what you actually get. Wine was from a bottle that had been open too long but was happily exchanged for a fresh one. Would be great if they had grilled chicken rather than chicken patties.

Tasty burger, sat upstairs out on balcony. Nice place yo go and eat.

Good value and great burgers, been here a few times, eat in and take away and foods always been great. Lots of variety and fast waiting times, will continue coming here

Best Burgers that I‘ve had in a long time! Fresh beef patties and incredibly crispy fries. Good value, nice outdoor balcony and very friendly staff!

Nothing special. Simple place and burgers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will not be back. Place is too simple for us.

Great burger options and great quality food for reasonable prices. Definitely a new go option to for reasonably priced burgers in the CBD and up there 👍

We didn't realise the cheese was spiced when we ordered. Staff happily offered to remake my daughters chicken wrap without the cheese. Burgers & wraps were great. Sweet potato fries were amazing 😍
