What The Bao

Food delicious but a wee bit pricey. Not the biggest portion sizes either. Bruce Lee would recommend it.

Delicious fast food. Tried the duck and the soft shell crab, both were great, but my absolute favourite has to be the BBQ Pork. It is super tasty, and they are always made to order so you know its fresh. I could eat these everyday if I could. If you are at Fremantle Markets, you have to give them a try. The staff are always so friendly too.

Pretty good... the bun was a bit wet, and it’s definitely overpriced. Taste was pretty on point though. 4 stars is being generous.

This was my first Bao experience. + Variety for all dietary requirements + Tofu Bao was very tasty and full of flavour + Front of the store displayed all bao options so visitors can see the menu come to life prior to ordering. This really helped me choose. + Located in Freo market Overall, I would recommend and revisit.

Tasty foods but place is not very clean.

Wanted to try something new, so went with bao. There are 2 veggo options and I had the tofu vegetarian option and it was fun! Fresh and nice flavour. The rice bun is unique. A fun experience worth trying :)

Its really good, but be prepared to pay a premium. Great friendly staff bringing the asian sensation to Perth!

Tried Japanese Panko Fried Chicken bao from What the Bao Food Truck at Curtin and it was delicious! For me, a single bao was slightly small for a meal but two would have been too much. Will definitely try it again next time the truck comes around :)

Delicious baos, available with a good range of fillings.. highly recommended.
