West Essendon Fish’n' Chippery

Another week another rip off fish and chip shop. Prices are on the up and quantity has gone down. If you're trying to feed a family keep driving. I could seriously understand if the food was great but wow this was unbelievable. I should have known by only 3 staff working on a Friday night. Potato cakes were paper thin and soggy. Chips weren't flash and you could probably count them in the photo. Fish was paper thin and like rubber. Another terrible disappointment and still on the hunt for a new fish and chip shop in the area.

Good local fish and chip shop. Does what it says on the tin. Fancy? No. Good fish and chips done quick? Yes. Def's will be back.

Your everyday local fish and chip shop. Food was "as expected", the young lady serving was friendly and excellent at her job. The shop decor is the same as all the other local fish and chip shops - nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about. I will be regularly going back.

Best fish and chips in the area, possibly in the whole of Melbourne. The potato cakes are the best ever as are the staff.

I need to commend the Ladies for working on such a hot day in a little shop, the service is very good, however the Chips are terrible, even the crunchy ones were bad.

Best potato cakes ever. They make a great hamburger with the lot. Getting hungry now and will go tomorrow.

Just your standard fish and chip shop fast and efficient. Reasonable prices, hamburger was very good and enjoyable.

Nice fresh chips with a great lamb souvlaki.
