Villa Nova Motel

A well positioned, easy to find motel for a quick stopover if you're passing through. Very friendly and efficient office staff and the room was clean and well presented. It's spacious with everything you need for a freshen up, bathroom with all soaps provided and kitchen again, with all things provided. Plenty of dedicated, covered parking. Will be back.

Not clear. Cockroaches. Yuk. No one at reception. Very noisy people fighting at 3 am. No one to see to that. No answer to phone. Not happy and won't be back. Previous manager was much better.

Nice little hotel. Well appointed suite with televisions in lounge and bedroom. Very comfortable bed and large shower. I was left a little disappointed in the morning however as I asked them to mind my luggage for a few hours and was refused. This has never happened at any hotel that I ever stayed at and I've stayed at more hotels than I can remember - maybe motels don't do this - I don't know 😕

Great place to stay in town. Excellent Chinese restaurant right next door and a range of other supermarkets and takeaways in walking distance. Rooms were clean and tidy, but little things like missing batteries in remotes and plugs for the sink need to be kept on top of. Otherwise great place to stay and close to CBD and public transport

Reception Staff were lovely 😊 Although the rooms were not what I expected, The couch was very uncomfortable the cushions were squashed into the couch from people sitting on it over the years so was not ideal, It was dirty and smelt. The bathroom needs a major deep clean the shower screen is disgusting the build up on there is insane. The tv in the second room didn’t work so my children were annoyed with that. The aircon unit doesn’t work well either we had it set on 30 and it was still freezing in the room so that wasn’t ideal in winter and with a baby. There wasn’t enough cutlery for all of us either..

Very clean and functional room. Spa bath was lovely, if a little noisy. Beds were comfortable and clean. Would stay again.

I recently stayed at Nova Motel in Toowoomba for a two-week work trip, but unfortunately, my experience was cut short due to the motel's unfair and unprofessional treatment of me. After only two nights, I was accused of breaching the motel's rules because I had a few friends visit me. I want to clarify that we did not have a party or disturb any other guests. Nevertheless, the motel manager decided to kick me out in the middle of the night, even though I had already paid for a two-week stay. I agreed to leave, but I requested a refund for the remaining nights I had already paid for. Unfortunately, the motel manager refused to refund me, citing my alleged breach of the motel's rules as justification. When I refused to leave without a refund, the motel manager called the police, who were unable to do anything since I had paid for my stay and had not broken any laws. Eventually, I received a partial refund and was forced to sleep in my car for the rest of the night. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed and upset with the way Nova Motel treated me. I would not recommend anyone stay at this motel, as they clearly do not value their guests' comfort or rights.

Rooms are so old fashioned, bathrooms are so old and fancy having disgusting shower curtains in 2023, tiles in bathroom were dirty, toilet had a skid mark left in it, beds are so uncomfortable, carpet and walls dirty, stayed 2 nights and didn’t even get anyone offer fresh towels or if we wanted our beds made again. Disgusting and I would never stay their again.

The service was really lovely, the room was big and clean. The furniture felt modern. Little extra touches were lovely like a gift on arrival and leaving out the itinerary for the carnival of flowers.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom downstairs at the back of the complex in April 2022. Generous sized rooms and comfortable set up for a short family stay. Good price but we found out why. The units are a reasonable distance off the main road and despite being worried about road noise it was actually fine. The noise within the two story complex is an issue though, with doors slamming, cars coming/going. The website photos are misleading - they are obviously from when the place was built and make the rooms look a lot nicer and larger than they are. Our room was definitely due for a refurb and replacement of most of the furniture though the kitchen is still good. The terrible quality single beds in bedroom 2 also need replacing. The noise from the plumbing from running a bath was horrendous, never heard anything like it. I had to wonder if the builders used any insulation? The cleaners need to do a better job with bugs in corners of rooms and the amount of mould in the bathroom was truly disturbing! The shower screen was just yuck and desperately needs to be replaced and the soap and shampoo dispensers had copious amounts of mould under and around them. The new owners will hopefully address these things as this place has a lot of potential to be very nice.
