Have a child with special needs? Decided to eat out with your family last minute and didnt make a reservation?? THEN DONT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL ABSOLOUTELY RIDICULOUS FOR SPENDING WELL OVER $150 FOR 3 MEALS AND TO FEED THE BABIES. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT FROM THE UNWELCOMED BEGINNING, BUT THE KIDDIES WERE HUNGRY..... "DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION?" "no sorry" *ROLLS EYES* "WELL HOW MANY HIGHCHAIRS DO YOU NEED?" "3 please" "THREE!!!!??? GIVE ME A MINUTE" (WELL WE ARE EACH CARRYING A BABY ) IT WAS MY OWN FAULT FOR STAYING PAST THIS CONVERSATION, THE GARLIC SAUCE SHOULD BE CALLED SOUP THERE IS NOTHING SAUCY ABOUT IT, THE KIDS MEALS ARE SET AT A RIDICULOUS PRICE WELL $11 FOR A PIECE OF FISH THE SIZE OF 2 CHIPS IS RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED (IN MY OPINION ANYWAY. ) WE WERE SEATED NEAR THE KITCHEN ENTRY SO EVERYTIME THE STAFF WALKED PAST AND MY DAUGHTER WAS SUFFERING SENSORY ISSUES DUE TO HER CP SHE WAS CRYING TO LET ME KNOW SHE DIDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE, WELL DONT EXPECT THE STAFF TO SMILE OR EVEN LOOK AT YOU WITH ANY KIND OF HUMAN DECENCY, INSTEAD YOU CAN EXPECT THE DIRT LOOKS OF DEATH FROM EACH AND EVERY ONE, NO AMOUNT OF COMPASSION, NO AMOUNT OF HUMILTY, INFACT ONE OF THEM APPROCHED US BEFORE OUR MEALS WERE FINISHED TO "TAKE OUR PLATES FOR US" I ASSUME IN A DITCH ATTEMPT TO GET US TO LEAVE EARLIER, AND WHEN SHE DID TAKE THE PLATES SHE LIFTED THEM OVER MY DAUGHTERS HEAD, HMMMMMM GREAT IDEA WHEN THERE WERE STEAK KNIVES. (Although one of the ladies did extremely passive aggressively ask me if the meals were okay at one point at least she tried but the foul looks made me quite dismissive at this point a quick "yep" was all i could manage with out bursting into tears or screaming) IT TOOK ALL MY ENERGY TO LEAVE KINDLY, BUT I WAS GLAD THAT THE KIDS LEFT SUCH A MESS (AN HONEST CONFESSION) I CLEAN UP EVERYTHING POSSIBLE AFTER THEM EVERYWHERE WE GO (even good old HJs) BUT LAST NIGHT I DID NOT! I LEFT IT,IT WAS THE MOST GRACIFUL WAY OF SAYING F**K YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO SUBHUMAN THAT I COULD MAINTAIN, CAUSE I WENT SO PAST SAD AND GOT SO ANGRY I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK THERE! MY DAUGHTER DESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST TO LIFE , I WILL NOT KEEP HER SHELTERED AS THAT DOESNT PREPARE HER FOR ANYTHING , IN FACT THE ONLY THING I CAN THANK THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR WAS THE FACT THAT IT WAS REALISTIC IN A SENSE FOR HOW UGLY SOME PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ARE... AND I GUESS MY DAUGHTER SENSED THAT CAUSE NORMALLY SHE DOESNT HAVE ANY REAL ISSUES PAST COMMUNICATING SHE NEEDS SOME EXTRA COMFORT.... THANKS FOR TAKING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY, ENJOY.

Perfect place to chill for a while over a few brews.. .

Love this pub! Great to watch a nice Perth sunset whilst drinking one of their many brewed on site beers, which in itself is enough of a reason to check it out. But tried the ‘smokers platter for two’ last night. And WOW!! Absolute perfection on a plate. Amazing. Will make this my regular from now on.

Didn't dine here was fully booked indoors at lunch time. They couldn't open outdoor area due to heavy rain. Looks like a great place to dine and relax.

I had been here a few years ago for a family lunch to celebrate a birthday and had no complaints at all. Food and service was great. Went there on 18th April for another birthday lunch and had the total opposite experience. Booked a table for 1pm. Our table wasn't prepared so we were all sat on stools at a big table next to the bar. We ordered drinks and looked at our menus. When we went to order our meals the girl at the bar informs us that the chef has told them not to take any more food orders for another 30 minutes, and that there would be an hour and a half wait on food after ordering. That would mean we might get our lunch by 3pm!! We finished our drinks and left. Customers expect to get good service. It isn't our fault you don't have a big enough kitchen or enough staff to service the tavern and the brewery beer garden! I won't bother going back there again unless I hear from somebody else that they have lifted their game. Word of mouth can lose or gain a lot of business.... just saying....
