Norwood Mall 166A The Parade, Norwood
Great meals, very fresh friendly service
A great place for coffee and cake. Newspapers and magazines available to read as well. Outdoor seating also.
Well made simple food that does not mask individual items with sauces. Really nice setting. Relaxed orderly processes by staff that give off a sense of being secure in their job. The owners are nice without being overly familiar. Mostly caters to a senior demographic but the outside area is arguably the nicest outdoor place within 100m to grab a bite, either side of the Parade. Mellow coffee, good soda drinks. Good fries. About $15 for a meal, $5 for coffee, a cold drink..I paid $30 for a good chicken burger, an organic sparkling juice, a large-ish coffee and fries. Parking is tight brunch & lunchtimes.
We visit for lunch whenever we are in Adelaide. Always great coffee and delicious lunch time meals. Quick friendly personal service. Highly recommend.
Fast efficient service, great tasting coffee, plenty of room for I door or outdoor dining. Lots to choose from on the menu and caters for all coffee types and milks.
Well set up tables to confirm with Covid. Good coffee and fresh ingredients on sandwich. Good atmosphere.
Lovely little Cafe, with fantastic service! Plenty of variety which was a pleasant surprise. Ok coffee, its just such a nice place to be, simple as that.
I chose Uncle Albert's Cafe for a late lunch. Unable to resist their Salmon on a bed of Moroccan salad from the specials board. Fresh and Fantastic!!!
I recommended Uncle Albert's for brunch with my friend. Our coffees were nice and the staff were lovely. She ordered some chocolate waffles, they were average, they came with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and strawberries. I ordered a smoked salmon stack. On the menu, it consisted of avocado, smoked salmon, eggs Benedict and a cheese spread on bread. When the meal arrived, I was served the ingredients on toast, that could pass for coles white bread. The avocado wasn't fresh, it tasted like store-bought avocado dip. The eggs Benedict was overcooked and therefore hard on the inside, it was pretty much a boiled egg. The smoked salmon was cheap in quality, the fish wasn't soft it was a little tough on the edges and didn't taste fresh. My meal definitely wasn't worth $20 and I could only stomach a third of it. I left highly disappointed as I had been to this brunch place before and their quality of food has significantly degraded.
Delicious menu especially for a light lunch and even if you wish to share . Quality and value. Very accommodating and proficient staff. Thankyou.
