Amazing menu. Great music and atmosphere. The yabbies were fresh / still alive before being cooked on site. Absolutely delicious. Andrew the head chef really knows his way around curing meat and has an incredible selection. Great experience all round will definitely go back.

Super tasty Mediterranean food. We had the octopus, whole baked fish and sides of lettuce and patatas bravas, which left us with plenty of room for the yummy desserts, creme brulee and rice pudding. So yum. For two people this was plenty, plus 2 large glasses of wine and a cocktail each for $130 pp I think that is excellent value for the quality of the food, drinks, service and venue. Definitely will go back 👌🏽

Had a booking and was running a bit late so called to notify. Was on hold to central Merivale office for a bit. When we arrived were greeted nicely and seated. Small intimate dining area. Nice big windows open on a lovely day with beautiful views. Ordered soft drinks and a beer and food and drinks came first. Server knocked over and spilled an entire schooner of beer on my lap and I had to clean up with napkins. Food came out quickly and was okay. Ordered Charcuterie, Bread, Mozzarella, Casa poco Squid, Patatas bravos, Beef skewer, Lamb,Chroizo. This was a good amount of food for 4 people. Food was okay. Expensive for tapas and nothing super special. Staff were attentive with drinks and food. Didn't offer to discount any of the meal or drink even after spilling a drink on me. Total was $200 for 4 people. For the price and hype I was expecting more.

Great little tapas place overlooking the ocean. They have tasty dishes with the highlight being anything that uses their oils - the mozzarella, whole fish and chorizo dishes are all recommended.

Wonderful lunch here today. Food & drinks delicious, service excellent, and we had the perfect table overlooking Coogee beach on a perfect Sydney summer day (if you're a party of 3 - 6, ask for the table on the window in the north east corner). The Hemmes team keeps delivering. Will be back.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. Staff were extremely helpful and the food was incredible. Dietary requirements were obeyed and alternative recommendations were delivered i.e vegan / vegetarian options. Could not fault the wine list either. Will definitely be going back. Money well spent!!

view is stunning, staff is nice and knowledgeable variety of food is great and taste is pretty good too tried the special menu of truffle and roasted whole artichoke 😋 Merivale does really well at marketing and how to present the group image in different types of cuisine and venues
