Alas, we weren't able to try the food at Twenty46, but we did get an insight into the service. We only had two in our party, and they only had two "large tables" (each made up of 3 small tables) and they weren't prepared to break them to seat two diners in the hope they would get two larger groups (yes, that definitely was the case as we heard the conversation between the two staff members), and they wanted us to wait 30 minutes to be seated when there were tables available.
Kind of lucky really, because we ended up at Element two doors down and had a beautiful lunch with top class service.
My Dad always said, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." You've not only lost a customer for today, but for always.
