Great place to visit
Currently on our honeymoon and we booked a tour last minute this morning and I’m so glad we did! We had a fantastic time. The fruit samples and taste testing of products were delicious. The tour guide was great and we learnt a lot today! A nice tractor ride and boat cruise along with some farm animals and bush tucker. Would recommend this tour to any couple or family. Also a great price for a bucket of avocados! What’s not to love.
Pretty fun place, managed to get a good locals deal for half price, so it was pretty cheap but generally can be rather expensive, can find some deals occasionally for it though. Fruit tasting was cool, some fruits a lot better than others personally. Tour was quite nice and it was cool to see all the trees and plantation. The mini farm area was pretty amazing the animals where lovely. Wouldn't recommend trying the red berry as you hop off the tractor though on the way to animals. Also went to lunch after and had a nice chicken tenders burger, mildly spicy but not too bad. The meals are a good size though and tasted good, and our tour guide said that they make it all on site which is cool, don't know if it is literally all though. Have photos of meal but the camera glitched out and they went weird so sorry for quality of photos. Overall nice place, the staff are lovely, the fruit was mostly nice and the not so good ones where still an experience, the animals were nice and so was the river cruise. Only downside is price but apart from that it was great. Also near end of car park furthest away from restaurant there are some lovely "sunflower rooms" would recommend, but be cautious as the chairs can be very hot.
Brilliant, just beyond expectations. Fruit never tasted so good. The whole family had fun and the cafe was a nice touch at the end of the visit
Went to the cafe no tours. The coffee was terrible and the large sizes were very small. (Small blessings) The lunch menu is better than breakfast. The food was underseasoned but not too bad, not great either. Pretty sure the banana bread was microwaved it was soggy. Service at cafe was average but the lady in the store was friendly and helpful which is why this review isn't 1 star.
nice place.. good meals and products
A great place to learn about new fruits and taste them. The tour is awesome especially the aboriginal talk on the island. A bit disappointed that when we went to the Cafe it was closing even though we had just got off the tour. Beautiful setting with mostly very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. NO food was available as everything was packed away.
Great location. Had a great fruit snack and coffee. Did not do the tour as too long and too expensive for us pensioners. $40 each. Should be $20 IMHO.
Add to the bucket list! Amazing tropical fruit taste testing and learning about the ‘farm’ and types of fruit, origins etc. then a amazing ride on ‘train’ and boat to view the fruit forest Great cafe too!!! Took my coffee, bought some glorious produce and sat in the shade with my star fruit!
It was amazing! The sand pit was fun to play in. U could get ice-cream there but I didn't really want it because I didn't want the fruit options. There was packs of popcorn you could buy and it looked yummy. There were also chips. I don't know why but they had fruit themed skin care like lip balm and face oil. But they should really try not to make things super super expensive. It was a great adventure to experience but to expensive. Also there were avocados.
