Absolutely delicious. Great new addition.

A nice modern fusion Japanese cafe with outdoor undercover seating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They also now have a dinner menu. Would certainly recommend.

Date visited June 20th Had a late lunch on a Sunday arvo at this cute little place. Ordered sealed salmon and Okonomiyaki，both tasted decent. The sauce with the sealed salmon is clearly way too sour even after I ordered a rice to balance out. Overall experience is good. Staffs are lovely，interior is lovely. Worth a try！

It's very difficult to find a late lunch place in Canberra but this one was great.

Tokyo Canteen is a great spot for brunch. Their dishes are more of a modern Japanese twist rather than the traditional Japanese style. The menu is small but there is a wide range of dishes from rice to noodles to sandwiches. The cafe itself is cosy and bright. They recently updated their menu with seasonal dishes - the salmon with winter veggies was delicious!

Very impressed with this place. Great for a quick, fresh and super satisfying lunch! Cute and sunny corner cafe manned by smiley staff. Saw a lot of chicken sandos and currys go out - will be trying those next time!

I found this restaurant through a recommendation on a social media app, expecting to try a Japanese brunch. Generally the food was not bad, and I ordered some of the most recommended items on the internet, which should be considered the signature of the restaurant. But the coffee is mediocre.

Tokyo Canteen has been on my list since it opened And it did not disappoint. Delicious Japanese curry, okonomiyaki, chicken dando, and wide choice of drinks. Staff were super friendly and service was quick. Will be back for sure

Located at the new retail precinct in Kingston. Cafe uses Redbrick espresso which is amazing. The Okonomiyaki with free range egg was also very tasty. My only criticism is using leafy mix as a garnish on top, I think there are better ingredients you could use to present a beautiful dish.
