What a lovely location. I've had several morning coffees, attended some birthdays and functions. All have been wonderful. There are some interesting regulars that enjoy a chat. Staff are friendly. Food is great & coffee brilliant.

I ordered the scone deal. It was good. My friends ordered the bacon and egg roll deal. We all agreed it was one of the best bacon and egg rolls we have ever had - both sides of the buns were toasted with melted cheese, had a big stack of bacon and TWO fried eggs! So worth it!! We also had nachos and it was a massive plate. Coffee was also quite good!!

Mother's Day ..very busy but everything ran smoothly. Staff double checking we all had our orders ~ table of 11 ~. Nice food ,great cappacino Friendly staff

Terrible service and expensive and average quality. Why is the owner/manager so rude? What you can get away with when you have the location, anywhere else it would be bankrupt years ago.

Good location and coffee was ok. However, that is where the positives ends. Poached egg was hard, toast was badly underdone to the point that it cannot be categorised as a toast. Sausage was probably sitting in bain marie for quite some time, marinating in its own sweat. It resembled limp, overcooked frankfurt. Bacon was the same, under-cooked and sorry looking. I gave it to my dog - he refused to eat it. I didn't expect 3 Michelin star menu, but that was barely edible. To compound poor customer experience even further, the mature lady at the back (probably the owner) was dispensing her venom on staff. On the flip side, I didn't succumb to salmonella or botulism, hence the generous two stars.

Excellent thickshakes, a proper honest fish and chips with breezy waterfront views. I highly recommend as an excellent casual feed.

Fantastic cafe AND restaurant, with views out to the Swansea channel and inlet to Lake Macquarie. Good coffee, menu is what you expect, and importantly good treats and good, quick service.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 16 years and as of yesterday – WILL NEVER BE BACK. The day started fine as we ordered our breakfast on a busy Easter weekend – we ordered French Toast and Eggs Benedict and two coffees. The waiter brought around Eggs Benedict and Pancakes, and as it was so busy we did not catch him to tell him we ordered French Toast instead, assuming they must have heard us incorrectly and wrote the incorrect order. We weren’t bothered by this mistake so just kept the meals and ate them. As it turns out we received another tables order by mistake and so we offered to pay the difference in the meals. The owner of the café was extremely rude and hurtful implying that we deliberately took the meals even though the waiter mistakenly gave them too us. Instead of us paying the difference, she forced us to pay for not only our meals BUT MADE US PAY FOR THE TWO MEALS THAT THE OTHER TABLE HAD RECEIVED – meaning on top of the public holiday surcharge we had to pay for two meals that were consumed by another table! On top of all this – our coffees never came until after we were trying to figure out the bill. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO LOYAL CUSTOMERS – DO NOT RECOMMEND.
