A huge thank you to Lauren. She was such a wonderful waitress. We, as a group have been here before & loved it. Regretfully it just didn’t make the mark this time. I asked for my pork buns to come out with the main meals.. they arrived with the entrée leaving me with a small basket of chips for my lunch - which were not beer battered as per the menu. My husband enjoyed his seafood crepe. My friend did not enjoy her Caesar salad, 4 very dry, very tough pieces of chicken, & unimpressive salad. 2 had the calamari salad & were not impressed. We had our reservation at 12 noon & did not get our main meals until after 1.30pm. Certainly a very expensive place to dine for not enjoyable meals. All in all a very unacceptable experience. I thought it would be a great place to take my dad. I just can’t.

Delicious food for everyone at our table. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nicely decorated interior and very clean. Not too busy or loud for Saturday lunch. Will definitely come back!

We lunched at Tides yesterday and the food was yummy - special mention to the Calamari, which was melt in the mouth good. Nice wines to choose from and the wait staff, Lauren and Chloe, were very friendly and attentive.

We had heard good things about Tides and decided to give them a go three days ago. Menu looked good and they had a good wine list with lots available by the glass. It probably wasn’t the best night to go to Tides as they were one chef down but in their defence they were making a strong effort to keep on track. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive and the owners made sure to advise customers of possible delays out of the kitchen. We ordered the Seafood for 1 platters which consisted of battered Dory, 3 tempura battered scallops, 3 prawns, 3 oysters natural, chips and salad. All that for $47 each. Sounded great. What came out was the chewiest Dory I’ve ever tasted, scallops that were so uniform in shape that they could of been anything and if that was tempura then the Japanese have got it wrong and soggy, barely warm chips. The only parts of the entire dish that we couldn’t complain about were the two components that hadn’t been cooked in the kitchen, the prawns and the oysters. Both were great. I did highlight our disappointment to the waiter who was clearing the table and to her credit she did tell chef. Very sad introduction to Tides and I’m not sure we’ll return.

First time here and had lunch for a birthday. The food was nice, with the seafood platter, gnocchi and the dips all very tasty, however the service was very slow during a time that wasn't very busy, and it took over an hour to get mains, including kids meals. We also had to ask to order as no waiter arrived to take any orders for food or drinks for 40 minutes after being there. Unfortunately won't be back due to poor service.

We went here at the start of the year and it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere lovely outside and staff extremely friendly. We are definitely coming back soon. And thanks for the apple pie!
