Tide Cafe

Good food, simple but varied menu ranging $18-25. Great location on the water, free 4hr parking on a Sunday along the main road. Staff aren’t exactly friendly but not nasty. There is a queue to get a table and you need to wait on an open deck, but thankfully the marina does not smell like dead fish. If you’re going for an early run along the waterfront or up and back heartbreak hill, then this a good after run cafe.

Tide Cafe at Rose Bay has come back better than ever after the shutdown. They have brought back table service and a new improved, made in house, menu. Fish & Chips has been added to the lunch time list, much to our delight! The service is efficient and with a smile. The view and activity on Rose Bay never disappoints.

Good coffee and tea, nice view. Friendly staffs. Nice place for breakfast and hangout. The food were delicious.

We visited Tide Cafe on Friday 7th August at 10.30am. After been directed to sign in, we found our own table and waited for someone to approach us to order breakfast, after 15 minutes, the only female on shift was too occupied chatting to the chef so my husband went to the counter and ordered our meals and drinks and paid. The “waitress” proceeds to slam the drinks on the table without saying a word or acknowledgement. Snatches the menu from the tables, again without uttering a word. Is this place for real? What kind of attitude do the owners of the place consider to be acceptable for service? Honestly, I could not be more baffled by the appalling service. The cafe was almost empty, which makes it all the more reason to actually be some what attentive and courteous.

Amazing cafe and great food but very rude wait staff.

Ran in here when it started raining on a walk to Watson's bay. My partner had a breakfast lunch of eggs and toast. Food was simple and scrumptious. Lovely views of water and kept us out of the rain in an open air covered area.
