What a great bar . A whisky lovers dream
Great place to stop in for a quick drink or to settle in to a more serious session. Head in early for a quiet dram, head in later if you're more in to a bar abuzz with great music and packed with patrons. Best range of whisky in the north but so much more than that. Excellent bartenders, the brains trust behind the bar should be able to manage just about any request should you desire something not on their excellent and ever changing menu.
Three Wolves in Cairns is nothing short of SPECTACULAR. Both Tim and Boyle were absolutely fantastic at the helm. Both inviting and inspiring with their cocktail selection. Tim creating the "Pisco Disco" for me of the top of his head and Boyle creating the "My Guy" in the same vein. The joy and adulation I have of describing this incredible bar is unprecedented. If you want an incredible yet informative night of cocktails and specifically whiskeys, go no further then the three Wolves.
My favorite night spot in Cairns! My go to is a smoked old fashioned, and its perfect every time. Friendly staff who actually seem to like to talk to you when greeting and a good atmosphere. Cozy and intimate.
Quaint.... But for $17 (starting price) for a cocktail.... I don't know.... Even if it is their own brewed gin... Not much seating area.... Tried the ginger cocktail needed more ginger.... suggested they put in some ginger cubes to up the taste... Unfortunately don't think I will be back.
Great little bar tucked away down an alley with a wide range of cocktails. We tried a couple of different ones and loved them all. Service was excellent - when we requested an amaretto sour (not on the menu) the bartender was only too happy to oblige. Definitely recommended for a pre or post dinner drink.
Wonderful little bar! We loved the innovative flavours in every single cocktail we had, and bartender was friendly and happy to help guide our choices. Happy hour from 4pm is so great - go early and stay a while.
