Great lunch

Went to the Vue ravenous after a long days walk. Got in too late to get a patio seat facing the sunset unfortunately but inside was nice too. Had seen the recent reviews warning of small portions so ordered a bit more than usual but we really needn't have worried as the Chicken Platter for 2 could have easily fed 3. We also got the sous vide kangaroo which was interesting and enjoyable. Took home enough leftovers to have breakfast and lunch the next day. Great experience overall. The staff were also really nice and attentive. Only negative was that food took about 30 minutes to come out.

Got to try Vue's new ala carte menu today. All the menu items were overpriced, chicken burger was $24 and Wagyu burger was $26. Bit overpriced for some average tasting burgers. Customer service wasn't good either, our table couldn't get waitress/waiter to serve us, we were constantly searching for them.

Excellent service, food.Could not fault it. We we will be back. Thankyou to all the polite, helpful staff.

Went for what I thought was a 5 star meal, no seafood platter available, miserable waitress, salmon salad, more spinach than salmon!, Crispy fish wok, one piece of broccolini and Bok Choy plus rice very disappointed what happened to this restaurant!!!

Small portions for the price, and no variety in the meals.. scrap the vue and bring back all you can eat

Nice place for all you can eat buffet dinner. Go early, it gets crowded with locals on Monday and Tuesday. Free car park, short cab trip from CBD or bus stops right outside. Plenty food from roast beef to stew and curry to seafood. Pasta, rice, free soda drinks and coffee. Enjoyable experience. Staff are efficient.

Lovely oyster brunch, very good service, an amazing selection, and OMG the fresh squeezed orange juice superb! Great price at $30.00 P/P highly recommend it. On the down side the steak was cold, but I'm not sure how they can better that unless it's cooked to order.

We went for dinner to the $26 Buffet on Tuesday and the $39 Buffet on Thursday. They had a big variety of food both days: soup, salad, shrimps, hot dishes (meat, vegetables, fish, pasta, lots of sauces) and free softdrinks. The only difference on Thursday was a bit more variety of salads, meat, and oysters. The dessert was amazing!! On Tuesday "just" many different cakes and mousses, just delicious! On Thursday cakes, a chocolate fountain, more variety of fruits and ice cream! Both Buffets are really worth to visit! We'll come back to the Vue for sure, when we are back in Darwin one day. Only 4 stars because it was a bit quite, they don't play any music.
