Questions and answers (6)

If the $4 pints are an existential notion of metaphoric liquidity, will my mate Davo rock up and shout us a brew even though it's chuckin a hell cloud slash out?

Do they show the footy when it is on?

Is it true the bar has $4 pints

Hi what’s days are pint special ? ($4) Thanks

We ordered dinner at 6.59pm there were 8 of us mostly burgers and quick food as we had a show to be at for 8pm. We were still waiting at 7.50pm .Got our money back after asking 3 times how long was the meals going to be . We then has to get our money back and go hungry to the show . We booked into a pub as food is normally faster than a restaurant. But won't go back here if you want speedy service.

Great steak for lunch. Perfectly cooked to medium rare as instructed.

Nice setting and vibe, but the rump steak was below average (very chewy)

Extremely slow service, even though it wasn't busy. The venue is quite loud. Food was mostly average - prawn salad was almost entirely spinach (some nice fresh herbs but almost no avocado) and the parmi lacked cheese. Chips were good! And the pinot noir was nice.

Went for a Saturday lunch, food was very disappointing. Food took ages to come out even though there was hardly anyone there. I had the wagyu beef burger and thre was way way too much mustard, surprise relish which wasn't listed on the menu, and the crispy bacon for $3 was definitely not close to crispy. My partner had the el diablo pizza that had a very soggy undercooked base and was not spicy. The venue itself was pretty good and drinks were good.

The atmosphere is relaxing, staff members are friendly. One thing that I can suggest is to have a cover to reduce the sunset lights directly on the face. The food was fantastic. I had a rare steak and it's soft and enjoyable. The chips were cut thick with the skin still attached, it gave different experience eating chips. Overall, as a non-regular bar/pub goer I was impressed with the Village Bar, will definitely visit again.

Can't comment about all their meals as I just had a stake once, which was low in salt with no salt shaker on any tables nor at the counter for me to pick up. Am I interested in lining up in a line to ask for salt shaker, leaving my stake on the table to get cold!? The cook and staff must have been very confident about their cooking!!! Good thing about this place is that you can have a lot of guests and run your music and dance, while not paying for the place but the meals being served. So I give it 5 star, something I very rarely do!
