Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and nice food Was a bit disappointed with the new lunch menu not a lot to choose fromfor me personally as the chicken pie I normally order at lunch time had been removed from the menu however the salt and pepper squid was lovely Has a play area for the kids too
Great welcoming friendly service! Always have great tasting food! And the dessert bar never lets me down!
Friendly staff and clean, well-kept facilities. Classic pub food, and always have a nice roast of the day. Can be a little slow on food sometimes but it's worth the wait if you're after simple comfort food!
All you can eat main meals are tiny for their high prices. Meals were either extremely oily or extremely dry, would have liked something in between. This was our second trip for all you can eat as we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and not post for the first visits dry over cooked meals. Months later same problems still. The lasagne was smaller than an iPhone 6 and had few chips but cost $25.90. Seafood platter was 1/2 piece crumbed garfish 1 battered fish 4 small prawns 4 small small calamari, 1 boiled potato with creamy sauce and some tartare sauce. And that was $30.90. However These meals all included salad bar and desert but not a great deal of choices are offered. Service was friendly but some staff were hovering around the tables of customers that were obviously friends, not sure how chatting with friends for 45 mins is classed as working. You may enjoy it here but unfortunately we will not be going back.
We attended the hotel for lunch with 10 elderly diners. The staff (Nicole and Abbee) handled our orders for meals and drinks superbly. Everyone commented on the God quality of the meals. We'll be back.
Not a big fan of the food here in the last few times I've been here I've been served raw chips burnt salmon soggy squid and fish that was oil logged. The chicken burger was tasty same with the beef brisket. I also feel the menu needs some salad options
Really disappointed with my meal tonight. Spaghetti with mussels. 10 mussels in the shell that I had to open and fish out the meat in a tomato sauce that resembled soup rather than pasta sauce and considering there was only 10 mussels, there was stuff all spaghetti on the plate. $26 for a $5 meal.
It's a warm and welcoming place, but twice now after dining on two separate occasions in the past couple of years, the food has come out extremely late and one member of our table had their order forgotten completely. And it wasn't even that busy. Food was still delicious, however.
Service was good. Enjoyed our meal.
I enjoy surf and turf steak, done nice and meals out quick. Well done
