Great service and food

Excellent venue, let down by horrible food. Buffalo wings for entree looked boiled or steamed, with an oily watered down buffalo sauce. Lamb tasted like it was cooked two days prior and reheated and chicken skewers were dry and tasted of uncooked spices. So disappointing, it was such a beautiful old pub with a killer beer garden but the food is really average. Sadly won’t be returning

Shout out to our event manager, Ben for being so helpful when booking our private function, both prior to and on the night. Thanks for working with us to ensure our function ran like clockwork. The food was amazing, service was amazing and we would highly recommend the Robin Hood for the service, food and beautiful decor.

A group of 6 adults enjoyed their evening. Our waitress, Katie, was very friendly. We all enjoyed our meals. Three enjoyed the Thursday special of a t-bone steak & a glass of red wine. Our only criticism was a need for more staff when the place became very busy. We highly recommend and will return.

Pretty good meals, but lamb roast was a bit dull. Service fine except for one forgotten order. Good location and in doors with the fire is a great winter dining experience.

Maybe try not firing/turning over your staff every week? It's nice to get to know them and newbies, while lovely, take time to train. The food is mediocre at best but it's a nice atmosphere and the staff (that used to be there, I don't even know anymore) were lovely.

We went there to celebrate four birthdays all grouped within a few months. The food was just as we like it, the wine was suberb and the service first rate. However, being a Friday night we didn't expect the high noise level of younger children and young adults. We like Robin Hood Hotel but, from now on, we will confine our outings to lunches. I gave it five stars but perhaps because I didn't ask about noise levels and was disappointed I would have reduced it to four and a half - But the error wasn't yours it was mine.

Went to the Robin Hood tonight and I must say the food was good, but unfortunately the experience with some staff was a let down. Olympia came across as quite rude and dismissive, which was very disappointing as the rest of the environment was good.

Good food and atmosphere, would've preffered table service for the price, but overall that's minor.
