The Rail Cafe

Everyone at rail is so lovely. They make an effort to remember your order for the next time you come in, often they bring our coffee to us before we've even had the chance to order! Really thoughtful and friendly people. Not to mention the coffee is the best in Richmond.

What an incredible place. You could see that the staff enjoyed being a part of the business just by their smiles. The food was 1st class and so was the service. Highly recommended and I feel lucky to find a little oasis in the middle of Richmond. Master Paul Mitchell Founder United Taekwondo

After a good start yummy latte. I ordered pancakes with egg bacon and berries. It came out great. First bite of a really thick pancake,bland, seemed to have been pre made and refrige or frozen and reheated like a hockey puck. Great staff. But would never eat there again.

A fantastic breakfast, delicious, fresh and a generous portion size. Staff friendly and attentive and the chef clearly knows what they are doing! Yum! Could have a little more ambience in the cafe though, maybe even some some background music? Other than that, cannot fault this place and would definitely return.

A very good lunch spot. There’s certainly a couple of new lattes up for the try. Great staff.

Another sensational meal today. The breakfast bruschetta was to die for. Every meal I've had here has been superb, equal, if not better than some so called 'restaurants '. Meals are prepared by a chef, not a cook!

I love this place. My friends and I always go here when we are having bunch or coffee in Richmond. Delicious coffee always made perfectly and the friendliest service from all who work here. Less wanky than most of the other cafes in Richmond nowadays and better prices with far better produce used.
